Boosting in bad weather in a high HP car is asking for it. I remember the Supra that went on an overpass when heading to Street Wars this year. Boost + Slipperiness had him all over the road and he hit the guardrail.

Sucks to see a car like that gone. Hope the driver is ok.

theoretical? im sorry but if you need a time slip after that simple explanation you don't belong on a car forum. read the pages of the link i posted, it is a FACT that he made 550 @12psi. PM him for a dyno sheet.

So he was at 14psi how much power is that? Oh to much for wet roads, he obviously did not know how to drive his high hp car. Cause if he did we wouldn't have this thread going and pictures of his car parked in a hotel wall. We all mess around in the rain on wet roads **** its fun, but even in my truck if I give it to much at 40 it would spin.

exactly. at least someone here has the decency to realize that this guy's accident is no different than any others, but apparently it is because he was driving a rare car.

The whole reason this has even gone this far is because of the fact that this wasn't a VW that crashed, it was something WORTH talking about. It was something that will actually be missed.

Ok I will. Here are some gems from PAGE 5:

"What the ****** VW HOMOFLUSH bull**** is going on in my Supraforums?"

"brb. Going to roll my fenders and rust my hood."

"WTB: Roof rack and neon green wheels. LMK..."

"HEY GUYS, My sister just bought a new car and she gave me her old Jetta. What is the best way to cut my springs? LMK....
VW 4 LYFE"

"Just raced a honda civic on my way to starbucks in my rabbit and won. Stupid ****ing ricers. Good thing i stretched my tires to give me that extra traction."

"Roll fenders
Stretch tires
Install Roof rack
Apply stickers
FULLY BUILT YO"

"CUT SPRINGS AND ADJUST CAMBER TO -20
Brag about improved ride quality and handling while cleaning up spilled starbucks coffee from interior."

"Completely destroy all suspension dynamics that were designed by said German engineers.
REFLASH ECU AND INSTALL INTAKE"

"BRO, I SWEAR I GAINED LIKE 400hp FROM MY TUNE."

"VW meet next week?
Better get my skinny jeans, neon colored shirt and flat billed hat ready"

"Paint car panels different bright colors on VW
Call 1,000hp Supras gay."

Cool thread bro.

i know its hard...but... READ. i believe its on page 2 or 3 where he posts.

You guys have to think about this from the drivers point of view as well.
Even if he was screwing around, he can't admit that online. It could give an insurance company ammunition to F him.

I get it you are sticking up for your friend, but give it a rest.

hahahahahah i love supraforums. all of that is so true about vw's. literally lmfao right now.

btw, 800whp in a supra is not really that difficult to make. if he makes 550 at 12 psi he's easily well into the 700's if not 800 at 24+ psi. i don't get why everyone is so hung up on this.

i know that guy, and he knows more about cars then you do. and he does 10seconds on the track everyweekend. so, yeah. and i've seen the time slips to proove it.

and what he might be getting at as well is that alot of supra guys claim 800+ horsepower, refues to open the hood or say whats done, can only pull off 12-13 second quarter miles, and will only roll race on the highway from a 70mph roll.

If he hit the poll first and then smashed into the condo i doubt 40mph would create that much dmg to the condo.

i understand what you're saying, but most supras that do make that kind of power dont have the time slip to prove it...and by that i mean, they run terrible 1/4 miles. i know of one 1,000hp supra, but he can only manage high 9's. they have huge traction issues down the track and do to the 2jz having a ballbusting top end, they dont even get to the good stuff within that distance.

heres bens supra. (since i need to have a source for everything now)

if he made 550 @ 12 psi, thats fine. if his turbo is capable of 24 psi, fine. if 24 psi is good for 800 hp, maybe, thats your world, just like carb'd V8's and nitrous is my world. example, the 150 jets in my plate were good for an honest 150 hp on my old motor, but might only be worth 130 hp on my new setup (dont know havent dynoed it)

i highly doubt he was driving around OC on 24 pounds, or even 12 pounds for that matter. so how much power the car is good for is a moot point.

and as mentioned above, yes, i do know what im talking about most of the time

i gotcha. i guess its just a matter of knowing about how that car responds to that size turbo. im done posting in this thread now that the hostility has died down (thank god). im gonna go ahead and apologize for any feelings i may have hurt or things i said that were inappropriate. just trying to make the story more concrete. im leaving this quote from AJ himself just so anyone else who ponders this thread wants to know the truth:

"lol yea well many say i was racing or getting on it, if you guys actually put some thought into it...

- Making a u- turn at a light, wrecked right before the next light.
- How many of ya'll can hit over 100mph in one block when the roads are filled with rain when your car pushes over 500 hp at half of peak boost?--not me--

-In dry weather i dont get traction till 3rd, and as far as the 12 psi- i really dont know where i was at i just figured thats the only way my car would have kicked it- i dont spool till about 4500 so yea im driving down the road not looking at my gauges

The guy who asked that just signed up so he could post this **** on that gay ass vdub forum! w/e - thank god no one was hurt besides me, Im dealing with the precautions of fines and the loss of my car-"
