Car looks awesome so far!! I love watching the progress on a DSM build...they always look alright stock but then after a set of wheels and a drop its like a completely different machine. Ohh and my friend had a white talon just like your with black wheels and he added a carbon fiber hood...it looked soooooo good. So its something i'd reccommend, i saw in previous posts you were contemplating that. Keep up the good work bro.

Having Extreme PSI 5 min away from my apartment is a VERY BAD THING.

Not feeling the mesh. You ought to get a sheet of plexi or ABS plastic and trim it to fit.

true. but then my vent wont be functional anymore. i want 3 gauges there WITH air blowing through.

dont worry, its ALL going black. its gonna look SCHWEET when its done. i got this down, i built models for YEARS, this is easy.

I'd be wary of doing that. I killed a few rather expensive guages because of the vent pod in my 1G until I stuffed an old tshirt down into the duct. It's not so much the A/C, but the heat played havok on my two temp guages and after about two weeks, both of them conked out, and over time killed a boost guage that was installed at the same time. Just something to consider, plus, the heat in 2Gs is pretty decent from the factory, so you can imagine what it would do to the itsy-bitsy electronics and solder inside that guage.

yeah, i know. i don't use the heat that much. i have had an AEM and boost gauge there for awhile in my GS-T. i'll watch the heat there and try the stuffed shirt trick first.

i still like the mesh look. one solid plate doesn't look as nice i think.

here's she is painted. sanded down twice and repainted again. it's about as good as it will be. I'm gonna keep tweaking it in that one corner. I have NEVER done this ever. I think im doing well....i hope!

looks mmm mmm good. can't wait to mount it this weekend!
