Got word back from my store. I was right, distributor needed to be re-synched. Not really sure what I was doing incorrectly, but im gonna talk with the tech who is fixing it so I can learn how to do it the right way next time

Only cost me $317 with towing (and thats before my 20% discount :D)

If you're looking to do an FI setup the 4.8, 5.3 or 6.0 truck motors are your friend lol

It's rediculous how much power an ls motor can make especially the truck iron blocks, makes me want to keep the vette as is and just slowly build and boost a 6.0.

Dante, you are completely right. For some reason the truck blocks are stronger then the ls engjnes they put into cars. Would be pretty cool to see someone throw a boosted v8 into like a ford ranger or gmc sonoma, something you wouldn't expect it from lol

P.S. Also got my truck back. Distributor was 90 degrees out from when I swapped the rotor.

lesson learned, paint marks are your friend.

man I miss going to the track. I need to start going back.

Got the car back today. Guys up at fast did a great job on her. Now I can start doing little stuff to her. She needs to be debadged, needs a real good detail (thinkin about just taking it somewhere for that, ain't no one got 9 hours to detail a car), need to clean up the headlights, wanna plasti dip the front grill, etc. Time to get to work.

Hey guys, there is a scrap metal yard out in wc over by the detailing place (I forget his name

) and was curious if anyone had their name or number? No one wants to buy my old tranny so I was gonna scrap it for some extra cash, as im broke right now lol. Anyone know the place im talking about? Theres. Kia dealership and I think a lexus or mercedes dealership on the one corner.

Does the turtlewax restorer work well? Ive thought about just wet sanding them down, 2k to 3k etc, but im willing to give the restorer a shot.

I didn't know there was a scrap yard in WC.
