Took a trip to the Valley Forge Gun show, overall I wasn't really impressed with to much they had there did pick up a couple things though

And I decided to go big and I got my first automatic, its a full auto AR15 im going up tuesday to fill out the Form 4 and get the ball rolling with the paperwork getting it transferred. Already have my fingerprint cards and a chief of police that will sign off on it for me, so if all goes well within the next 2-6 months ill own my first legal full auto.

That HK93 is a nice pickup, and here's to a speedy approval time! It's also good to hear that there are still some decent deals at gun shows, as those days have been gone for a while.

Nice! Mine should be here shortly as well (only I bought mine back in November and still have nothing to show, dealer finally got a call from FN last week on Wednesday saying that it was ready to ship, but I did get a good price ).

How does the beta mag work with the SCAR? I am reading that they are having some problems...

Theres no way it was a good enough price for an 8 month wait ha geez, the MSRP is 2700 I got mine for 2950 and had it in 2 days. The SCAR only likes metal AR mags, the polymer mags feed but the follower wont hold the bolt open and they don't eject smoothly. It threw a hissy fit with the beta mag but it did feed it just didn't want to let me take it back out of the gun. My only gripe with the gun is it only throws shells about 7 inches and me being left handed that means it drops the hot brass right into the crook of my arm which is always an enjoyable experience, they should take after SIG my 556 chucks shells 8-10 feet.

the sig pistols do that, ill be standing like 10 feet behind someone shooting and get hit in the head with brass. that scar is so bad ass, they had it on super weapons, i think it will replace the M4 eventually.

does anyone have jamming problems on their AR-15? my dads s&w MP15 jams alot, puts a big dent in the round when we get it unjammed.

is that scar a 7.62 or 5.56?

I upgraded the extractor spring on mine, and added an crane o-ring to it. No ejection problems as of yet.

ill have to show my dad that, that fits on all AR's im assuming? he broke some kind of spring while shooting tracer rounds, pretty sure it was the same one.

Yeah, Tracer rounds are pretty hard on the barrel from what i hear, the extreme heat burns up the chrome.
