With the car just breaking 13k miles, it really shouldn't have any issues. But I found a TSB for the wastegate failing. GM fix is to just repalce the whole turbo rather then fix the internal wastegate. As stupid as it is, new turbo is always win.

Yeah your definitely making out on top bro. Now hurry up and start adding parts and tuning. BTW Intake and exhaust with a tune this car should boogie. Plus you can eventually decide to replace the wastegate and get a little more oomph outta it

Tune on stock adds about 50hp/70TQ. Intercooler and piping alone without retuning is about 20HP, and for some odd reason they are getting almost 10 HP from a catback(I find it very hard to belive) but there are dyno numbers on her HHR forum showing it. Then add a state 1 kit from GM that include a 3 bar MAP and I can push boost above 26 PSI. Should be a low to mid 13s when done. Stock its low 15, just tune its 13.9 to 14.2.

Weak link is the trans and I'm really going to try and not mess with the TQ management too much. They seem to have issues once you break about 320TQ on the autos.

Morning all. Im sore and sunburnt. Took me about 5 hours to get from wildwood to quakertown yesterday for a family bbq. man that sucked.

morning everyone. happy short week lol. hope everyone had a nice weekend!

got to swim in michelles pool yesterday. the water was nice at 87 degrees haha. sucks to hear about the hhr jay. at least its warrenty work though.

heading to the local car audio place after work to order a component set for the jeep. Paired with a set of plain jane coaxials in the rear and a 10 or 12" sub, itll probably sound better than my izuzu did and thats saying a lot but then again for my DD im all about budget builds.

I have a custom made sub box in my mustang that takes up almost more than half my trunk space. I have found it somewhat annoying lately.
