And in crappier news, my mom's dog has both lyme and kidney disease (and I just felt like I was wasting money for vaccinating zeus for lyme disease yesterday at $88/year). My little brother was apparently in a pretty bad motorcycle accident and is in the hospital. Probably going to have to make the trek down to lancaster to see him because it sounds like he's pretty banged up and is going to lose a body part or two.

Hey guys I have the R34 manifold gauge set. makes it a lot easier to figure out what the deal is. I've fixed like 3 cars now with it.

I don't think the BMW had an A/C service in the 134k miles that is has been alive. I probably should hook up some gauges and see what the readings are....Mark? haha just kidding.

I would only bother with it if it feels weak. The M3 had 190 something on it when I bought the gauges and it was maybe 1/4 can low. It made it work only marginally better. The M3 needs a new compressor clutch.. then it would be better. Incidentally, the 540 got its first real AC workout today. It has sick awesome a/c. I've never seen anything like it. It can move soooo much air.

The E34 a/c is pretty awesome, works great in the summer, but I wouldn't mind seeing what the pressure readings are at.

Oh btw, BMW compressors clutches are known to be quite loud. If your hasn't got any worse since you noticed it, I wouldn't worry about it.
