yo boys can i jump in on the chat?
my 02 wrx got a check engine a month a go. i reset it and after 100 miles it came back on.
reset it again and it came back on like 60 miles later. it only came on after the car sat a couple days and the morning when i started it was really cold out. so i reset it again and it popped in like 50 miles. i had my boy pull the code.
cylinder 4 misfire.
when i got the car 2 years ago i changed the coil packs and plugs right away because it pulled misfire on 2 and 4.
no problems since then.
so i ordered plugs yesterday and was gonna just try replacing them stock.
p.s. ralph flashed me stage 2.
i get in the car last night cel is on and just have enough road to get on it a little bit.

CEL WENT OUT.

i didn't know a cel could reset itself.

What's wrong with my car maybe the throttle, I press down on the gas when the RPMs are bouncing (only bounce a few hundred RPM) and nothing happens, so I think the throttle maybe just opening and closing. I'm not entirely sure yet, I will still test the BOV theory you suggested to see if that's whats up. Its been like that for a long long time and never had that problem until about a month or 2 ago.
