I wont be hitting the track hard as its not big around here. It'll be for weekend night slide sessions. Im an automotive service advisor so I get parts on the cheap,as well as tires lol.

Tbh, you're better off banking like 2-3k and then getting a loan for another 2-3k. That'll get you something swapped and halfway setup from jump. 3k total budget doesn't get you too far with an S13 unless you're staying KA or cutting corners and stuff.

I was intending on staying KA,as I need to hone in on my hoonage. Plus buying someone elses swap means buying their headaches. Also would sell miata for about 2k so theres a good chunk right there

And by a run for his money, an Evo was later spanked. If you're staying KA you need to move the power up top and make that stupid thing breath. Fools love those motors because they make torque, yet when you're banging the limiter, torque is the last thing on your mind. You want to rev and make power up top which KA's struggle with hella - moving the power band up like 1k will be the best thing you ever did, unless you're pulling stumps out of the ground. And if you're pulling stumps out of the ground, you should be puffing black smoke, have a holset and be revving to all of 4k RPM. MAX.

Sold in the US Market as the 90-92 Infiniti M30. They also made a vert of it. Sadly they were all auto from the factory, but from my understanding, the VG30 used is very similar to the one in the Z31 and the 5 speed swap is fairly straight forward.
Also is compatible with S13 front/rear subframes. Also has the nobody else has one appeal.

Stay ka. There is plenty you can do with a ka and the power is there with the right mods, and the motor and accessories are cheap. The only swap I would do is an ls and that's if I had no motor and trans, or a blown motor or trans. Honesty for 2k you can have a 300whp ka if your motor is healthy before hand.
