Main purpose, I believe, is if anyone pulls off any dumb moves in/around the garage we know who it is and we can report them, keeping it a controlled environment. It's possible in a garage, if it was like the bb/sa meets, not a single person would do it since its so open.

I just dont like the idea of someone having my plate number and name. With that info you can easily find where someone lives.

Ya, thats the only problem with the whole idea....trusting some stranger isn't gonna fly well with most people. I too don't like it much but how else are they able to know who is pulling stupid stunts.

plus, if somebody wanted to find where you live, its very easy to stalk them, especially with all the car forums and such. not saying I have but you know what i mean.

That is kind of a serious situation(not for ppl like me b/c Im on Texas tags

).....but Its like you guys are more like "Gimme your information!! If you dont like it get the Ph**k out then!!!" Instead of the the "this is why we're doing it, we'd like for you to take it into consideration, if you don't agree w/it you can choose not to attend..." attitude, seem to be getting heated about it.

Just for general purpose...obviously you can get everyones tags, thats easy, what if some one doesn't wanna give you there name, or the right name per say? Jus curious...are they banned from the meet?
