I thought your decision that you have to make was either work or school? Choose which one you primarily want and pursue the other in your spare time.

why dont you just go to a local CC and save yourself money, when you are an out of county transfer you already pay like triple what youd normally pay, when you are out of state, the prices sky rocket for classes.

What makes you think I was laughing at the idea of the military, it obviously isn't for everyone that includes myself. I dont care what you think of me I just asked for a simple opinion and seems like your one of the few that give me **** all the time. I dont understand how you can judge someone over the coarse of the internet. You really need to meet me in person to understand who I really I am, as little as I know anyone on this site I am quite friendly with many on here and met them face to face.

I found out, I cant register for this upcoming semester, so what Ill do is more then likely is register for the fall. I really have no other option but to go to a community college for the time being. My main goal is to get into a University, somewhere either up north or down south.

Somewhere either up north or down south? Sounds logical.

Even though i live in Mercer county and i go to Burlington i still pay the same price as if i went to Mercer college since Mercer dosent have the programs i wanted so maybe if u have a goal that u want to do and Mercer dosent have the course then u can go to Burlington and pay the same price as Mercer

[QUOTE=SpEcRv9;1224488]scape is right...and just because you join the military doesnt mean youll be shipped off to iraq....

QFT!! my cousin joined the Navy and was stationed in HAWAII for 4 years!! Made a couple rounds around the world (singapore, Japan, etc), but never saw any dangerous action. Best 4 years of his life so he claims.

Or do the community college thing. You could save money while going there for 2 years, and then transfer your credits to a university to graduate. People do it all the time. Start at community and transfer to Temple for example. Or even a less expensive school.

I went to a 4 years university, commuted all 4 years and worked 30-40 hours a week all the while. if youw ant to do it, there IS time for it...you just have to be willing to make some sacrifices to better your life.

you can't register at mercer county for this upcoming semester? that's ridiculous. rich scheduled his classes there yesterday. and for him, he's working 8-5 & taking 3 night classes.
me, im working 10-2, mon, weds, & fri, and taking 2 day classes, and 4 night classes...
ill be at school from 4pm-10pm most nights.
but thats because i gotta do what i gotta do, its alot, but im defenitly willing to sacrifice my social life, it pays in the end. i have plenty of life to live after college.

as for a job...check out the community college website, they have tons of part-time listed. yea it may be less..but u work like no more than 15 hrs a week, and u get reimbursed for ur tuition or something of that sort...as long as your grades are good.

i personally think you need to get your priorities straight. its either school, then work or work, then school
if you wanna better youself...id choose the 1st option i have listed

I've always gone by: "Associate's Degree is better than no degree"

Yea, I need a language also, I was exempt from it throughout middle school and high school. I am thinking of getting Rosetta Stone.

lol oh boy.

find a p/t job and go to school part time.

I go to school monday, wednesday, friday from 8am-12 noon and then go to work from 12-4 on those 3 days, the other 3 days I work all day. I take 3 classes at a time, its not that difficult. I pulled an 3.5 GPA last semester and it barely affected my social life.
