you're exactly right. However, the new cobalt and the GT-R are both direct injected, so hopefully the tuning will pick up for these platforms.

I am all for a Mazda or Mazdaspeed meet.

How about the at the new Best Buy in downingtown?

Downingtown is only like 40 miles from me so im down for that...I say we hold monthly meets or something, no matter how many cars show each time, word is bound to spread quickly and they will grow.

definately will, i might have some work for you guys to do on it as well, im brewing ideas...i dont know if I should do any vinyl work or not

one thing i definately want to do is a discreet vinyl somewhere on the car with the production number something like no. 2373/4000

think you can make something like that? it would be cool to have it all stickered out like a spec miata, but i think thats gona be more ricey than racey since the car wont be a track rat

New cars don't rust like old cars. They have a lot better coatings and sealants then say cars 10 years ago.

idk if that's true but it would only make sense hahaha

If you plan on trading the 17'' Racing Hart wheels for some rotas you have in the back of your garage...

Please, just keep your Civic.

Otherwise, looks nice, especially if youre getting it at a bargain price.

And dont worry about rust so much, a new car would be fine, like Pearl said, youre just being paranoid.

I think the stock wheels look great, but I think they are too big, especially when you go to drop the car...if I do end up using the rotas they will either be track wheels with R comps on them or winter wheels

6 winters with my 97; once it got warmer, the R compounds went back on. No signs of rust after 73,000 miles

The top is fine unless you try and lower it below 40 degrees F.

17s are fine on NB and NCs. They look like **** on NAs, though.

Yea I know that firsthand haha

Plastic Boxster window + subfreezing weather + top lowering = crack

thats not always true my bros got an 01 or 02? i think ram 1500 and the 1/4 panels are rusted because theres these plastic liners in there that hold water where my dad has a 99? i think that doesnt have em and it has no signs of rust. some cars have stuff where it holds water/salt and rusts out quicker then others. just do some research.
