Yeah, it doesn't. Something with higher displacement in an identical state of tune will always be faster with no other variables will always be faster.
Specifications.............Honda Integra Type R.....Honda Civic Type R
Bore/sroke, mm..............81.0/87.2..................81.0/77.4
Compression ratio..........11.1 to one...............10.8 to one
Power.....................187bhp at 8000rpm.........185bhp at 8200rpm
Torque....................131lb ft at 7300rpm.......117lb ft at 7500rpm
Power to weight ratio.....170bhp per tonne......167bhp per tone
Weight...........................1100kg........... ..........1090kg
0-60 mph.........................6.7 sec...................5.7 sec

I don't know how good these numbers are, i got them from CAR magazine, http://www.honda.org.uk/honda_integr...ic_type_r.html
Somehow it knocked a second off the 0-60 with less hp, only 10kg less weight, and no lsd.

I'm sure there's driver differences?

That doesn't really make sense to be honest with you.

You can all thank k20EK9 for this thread. Now hes saying it hit a 14flat bone stock at high altitude so on a different track it would hit a 13.

How about a 95 Porsche 964? 5 speed, 3.0 4 cylinder, 2 door. Not sure what it runs in the 1/4 mile. $10k to find one? Hmm, maybe if you look hard enough...
