Well since everyone forgot to mention, this forum was started by a bunch of Subaru/DSM guys about 3 years ago. Before 90% of the people here joined.

I drive mine because its practical and quick, that and I have found that my penis is more than adequate so, I dont have much to prove to everyone else.

would it be safe to say that subies n evos are now becoming like the new honda of the world, parts are readily available and every1 seems to kno how to work on them now

I love how this forum has become.....

But to the OP.... a lot of it has to do with weather. I was actually somewhat suprised though at the amount of Evos and WRX/STis on this site. I was actually expecting more of the VW/AUdi crowd, since 2 of their major events are held there....

Alex, most of us wouldn't care if your father owned the Z06, and you occasionally got to drive it, but saying it's yours is a no-no. So what's the deal, what do you do for a living to afford your vehicles?

And it's hard to believe you're the owner of that car, when your two other cars are hideous.

And for the record, I'd much rather have a 06 Z06 than my car.. even though mine is more rare.. the 06 Z06 is a true beast. I bought my car because I'm 22, I play hockey (trunk space), it's rare, it's fast, reliable, and better than the new cars in its price range in my opinion.

Different strokes for different folks. I happen to think it's due in part b/c the WRX/Evo are the "it" cars right now, and the forum did start from a bunch of Subie folks. So it would just so happen those two things would allow this paradigm.

Yea..well that wouldn't shock me b/c itd be classified under sports car, and sports car> 4 door. But in my neck of the woods, Evo's, SRT4's, and TT cars like a 300zx rape on insurance. My car is so cheap it's not even funny.
