PS. Jerry I was serious about getting an FC. I have something in the works for my hatch. Either a worked GT-U or a base model. Depending on what route the guy goes.

So I spent a little time under the hood and trunk lid today. I now have power again. Yay for power door locks.

It appears that I need to buy a few more IC piping parts and cut a few spots to get the IC piping in the way I want it, that is without a ton of restrictive bends. The intake side is pretty much done figuring, I just need to get the cold side pipe to the core done, then I can start getting all the little stuff I took apart back together.

Eventually...

Oh damn Mike...you still post here?

You should get the Tomei unequal length turbo manifold for your Disco Potaty.

Yeah, I still post here. You can only take so much of the online bickering about how much better one person's opinion is than someone elses. It just seems like people would rather take the extra time to say something ignorant than not reply at all. Sucks.

As far as Tomei goes, I don't have the lettuce for that. I would love to have top mounted it, but those manifolds are like 8-900 bucks. With the current economy, it's just not a wise decision to spend like that.

So it moved under it's own power today. It's not too happy about 650cc injectors on the stock ECU, but I didn't get a chance to get the PowerFC in yet. I just needed to move it so I could get the RX-7 in the driveway and start tearing it apart.

Did get a chance to wash it today though. Felt good.

Nice looking sil-40 you have there. Aren't 650's a little excessive? I have seen similar set-ups run 550's.

Shouldn't be too bad with this turbo. I wanted to leave myself a little room to grow, if I needed it. Worst case scenario, I sell them and get some 555's.

I just went back and re-read my thread, it's been over a year since this thing moved under it's own power. Zoinks.

So he can spend 800 dollars on a crack afold? Screw that noise

Stocker, extrude honed, and swained. At a minimum, just the extrude. Best manifold you can get for a bottom mount t2 flanged turbo.

PS: You'll love the spud!

OK, so it runs eh, but the real issue is massive breaking up under boost. I cannot boost the car at all. I am going to try to look for loose coil pack grounds and change the plugs today, and look for any boost leaks. Definately have to get some fresh gas in it. What I really need to do is get the PowerFC in there and get it tuned, 650's on the stock ECM is no bueno.

More to come.
