The Starion is acceptable, the Eclipse not so much. Gullwings are not my thing, unless its a Delorean.

dead assed, one of the very few acceptable aftermarket headlight combos IMO with the PIAA bulbs n housings

n cant wait for these 2 cars to compete this year, all of our serious drag guys finished builds this summer well see who else can break into 8s. The silver one is trying to do 9s with a plug in tuner.

both guys fabricate most of their own stuff and the silver one is nigel who tuned my car.

^That is a respectable post, but that subaru front end is ugly as hell. I had a chance to get those headlight for 50 dollars when I had my bugeye and I used that money for spray paint and painter's tape instead. You ask me this was worth every penny lol. Also any more info on those cars ?

lmfao nice job on the paint. Theres a few really serious drag guys with srt-4s.

DCR built "red sled" - kyle (from jersey) 2.6l block dynoed at 1060fwhp on 30 psi (now his highest is 42 + nitrous) and auto swapped was going 8s before this most recent build. the few times ive seen him at atco this summer hes fighting with a new traction control system they put in this year as he wasnt running one before

Realtune built - E rabbit is the fastest 5 speed with mid 9's i believe + nitrous on that run ( he doesnt like to admit this though lol)

then the first from my last post is kevin warren's new build which is a big secret on the boards as to turbo specs and etc, but he does all of his own machine work and fabrication. same with the last car (silver) is built by nigel who holds the stock block record for over 700whp and some consistent high 10 second passes all tuned by a diablosport obd2 tuner. He is a CMR tuner himself so he tries to steer from the EMS to prove what he can do with the thing. Im, personally, rooting for kevin and nigel to kill it this year just because im big into the built not bought thing.

That's pretty dam awesome, and I agree on the built not bought statement. I know I met that kid Kyle before and he was pretty cool, I was at the track with a friend with a srt-4 and he just started talking with us. I love seeing people who do their own work though. We were finishing a car at the shop today when some kid pulled up today saying he guarantees he will smoke it. Which we then asked nice did you build it, and of course the kid knew nothing about his car, only knew where to sign his name on the check lol. That's what's wrong with the auto game today. Definitely wouldn't mind seeing these cars run. I am a big fwd fan especially outside of the honda world where there is less that happens.

he comes down to atco a bit (kyles actually an older guy) problem is he only texts me at like 3:30am when he wakes up and decides to put the car in the trailer lol. IMO building a car brings a sense of pride that buying your modifications would never accomplish.

I think Kyle did all the stuff to his car prior to building the motor, I seen him a few times coming stage 3 to etown on the trailer, didn't seem like the most talkative guy... he helped me out a ****load when my srt4 trans asploded on 35 and he brought the enclosed trailer and towed me over to jay(n2mbs) house to replace the trans.

Building your own car is great and all but not everyone has the patience/time/desire to... I know I sure don't care to do it myself... it's kinda nice to just get in a car and drive it...
