oh em gee... I have about 40 thank you's / donation receipts to send out from The Sonic Meet... and I'm handwriting each mailing envelope for them. This is why I need more volunteers for next year, lol.

Wouldn't I need to print them onto sticker labels then?
I guess I could print them on normal paper and tape each on, but I dunno... meh.

Troll, just buy a sheet of paper with labels on them. Word can set up a grid where you can type out the addy. Then just click print and it will print onto that paper onto the little individual rectangles.

I'm lol'ing at the idea of him sitting there writing everything out instead of printing onto sticky labels.

On that note... morning, y'all.

Thats faster... but it looks much better to handwrite. People took the time out of their day to donate, it would only be nice to do the same to say thanks.

Weekend was good. Ordered my new livingroom and it should be delivered 5/19. Got my firepit for the pourch. Got a yellow antibug bulb from Target for $3 and it works like a charm. 2 hours on at night and not a single extra bug outside. Also got a few more Tiki tourches as well. All I need now is a new table cloth for the table to match the new unbrella and some extra wicker chairs for seating arroudn the fire pit.

I like the look of the sectional better, but like you said last week, the sofa, loveseat, and chair was the way to go and thats what we ordered.

Happy belated Jay.

Morning all. Spent a lot of time outside this past weekend even though it was windy, but the wind couldn't blow this fat guy over. Finally started up the camaro again and it sounded so good. Only problem is that the throttle was sticking a little on the carb, so might need to get a tighter return spring. Thing should be good for Pinks this weekend.

That works. Even if I'm not home you can drop them off on the front porch which is covered but chances are I'll be home at some point.

Yeah you buy the avery sticker sheets and they have a template number. You can then load this template into word from avery.com or usually they're just built in. It works in openoffice too. Then you can just load up a ton of addresses and print the sheet.. stick.. done. You can also template the response letters and make it a form letter. Anything 20+ I would do that for even though it lacks the personal touch because I feel otherwise it's just a waste of time.

Eh, it's not the time they took but the money that matters. I'd think a global thank you should be enough especially from a real charity because every cent they spend writing thank you letters or whatnot is money not dedicated to what I wanted it to be dedicated to ;)

As for the bug lights, they do work but I found that instead of hovering around the outside light, they now cling to the screen trying to get inside because they see the lights inside. Kind of not the intended effect.

I only had 1 light on in the kitchen and it was far enough from the door it wasn't an issue. I'm going to have to try that out though and turn all the lights on in the kitchen and the bug light and see how bad the hit up the house.
