I've had my set for about 3 months and they are showing some wear particularly because:

1. The VR4 weighs 4200lbs fully loaded.
2.
4 balls-to-the-wall 5-lap sessions on Englishtown's road course.
3. My camber needs adjustment.

I am very surprised at the performance of these tires though, for how cheap they are. They performed awesome on the road course and are great bang-for-the-buck tires. A+ grip too!

I hate to double post but here are some logistics for Sunday's autocross...

Arrival

Plan on arriving at the normal time you would for any autocross (between 7:30 and 8:30). When you arrive at the track the entrance will be off Dividing Creek Road. Tell the security staff that you are there for the SCCA autocross and they will direct you. You may need to sign the track's waiver which is basically the same as the SCCA waiver.
We are going for first car off at 10:00 a.m. so we can end and get cleaned up before it gets too dark and cold.

Price

It will be $35 for members, $50 for non-members (i.e. people who will need to puchase a weekend membership)

Paddock

We will need to paddock on a grass area. Given the temperature, hopefully the ground will be solid. We use the grass to paddock at the club races and it is not a problem. If you need to jack your car and can't do it on the grass, you can do it on the paved driving aisles between the grass. However, bring boards to put under the jack and jack stands as the track will charge for damage to the pavement caused by jacks and jack stands.

Run Groups

We will run two run groups, so you will be running twice and working twice.

Lunch

We will not have a formal lunch break with just a bit of time between heats for bathroom breaks and food. Most likely, the snack bar at the karting track will not be open so please bring lunch or something else to eat.

Afterwards

The clubhouse at NJMP is located on the access road as you come in. It is open to the public and they have been alerted that a decent sized group may show up Sunday afternoon. Therefore, if you have time, plan on stopping in for food and drink and watching the Eagles' game after we end and get cleaned up.

Dude, last night the civics kept coming and going for no reason. They would floor it and barely move, it was like watching a kid learning how to ride a bike for the first time, literally one of the cutest things you will ever see. All you heard was *fart pipe, slow motion, more fart pipe*.

He's a bit over 2000lb. Curb weight is 2100 so it is easy to get down to 2000ish.

Next week if they do the same thing I'm just going to go up to them and say "One of you guys wanna go on 295 and do some rolls? I got an Eagle Talon TSI but its really slow." just to see who takes the bait. So please, someone, bring a camera. Only thing is hopefully I don't **** up my clutch more... Don't let your friends who have been driving a manual transmission car for 2 weeks drive your car, I learned it the hard way.

CN, lmk when I said the car was 2200 pounds in reference to MY car. A stock Na base model has a curb weight of around 2130. So possibly you read me say that somewhere, and took it as thats what my car weighs? Not sure. 2200 would be more of the weight of the 97 models, so maybe again..you saw me say something about them. Feel free to double check the #s above, as I didnt search around the internet for them. I just know about the car I drive. MY NA miata without hardtop is 2027 pounds. So if you want to call me out again, which you like to do often, learn what the fck your talking about.

Anyway. I just wanted to man up and apologize for what I did. I was a complete @$$hole. I talked to John today, and told him I was WAY out of line. He and you guys had every right to be mad at me, and what I did/said. Truth be told, I feel really bad about it; as I should. Again man, im sorry for what I said. Just uncalled for, and plain out wrong.
