Doesn't boost in the rain? How does the rain have any affect on boost? Drive your car like a man and believe me, it will hit boost.

You guys are crackerjacks.. You have all this money to dump into your cars to hardpark and you can't invest in a rain duct for your air filter? Even if it is in the fender IT'S BEEN DONE. I did it on my 240 and guess what... IT HIT BOOST IN THE RAIN. And Bill, its a AWD car, you should be able to hit boost in the rain and enjoy it. I hope you're not going to tell everyone that you can't drive your LS1 240 because the rain only lets it run on 3 cylinders.
Its time to grow up and get out of the kiddie pool because your tasting the piss water. LOL

I guess you weren't there when I drove at the Speed Lounge track day in Reese's STOCK 240, which was walking all over a few AWD (I won't say any names) cars because their drivers were too afraid to "beat their cars." Yeah, that was me. There are pictures and a few guys who can vouch for me.

We're all really impressed, honestly. And if you think the car can't physically boost because of water 'clogging' the filter then you're worse than those you're trying to bash on. The car can boost just fine, the reason is that IF he hits a puddle and splashes a good bit of water on the filter, it could suck it into the motor and blow it up... which is why most CAI's (especially without fender liners to seal them off) are dumbbbb.

Don't mind driving it in the rain one bit, but with a forecast of rain till 3pm I just don't see the value in going at this point to be honest. It sucks, I wanted to... but with the only plan being an open parking lot, the rain is going to kill that. If it were a car meet at a go karting place, then we'd be talking

how many car events happen at racetracks in the rain... car shows, drag racing normally cancel when its raining. so why wouldnt a car meet be canceled.. makes absolutely no sense to me. and i love how everybody was bashing weather forecasters, how they cant forecast weather right, but yet your all expecting them to be correct about when the rain is gonna stop.. NOW THAT IS SILLY
