Back at teh hospital again. sigh. minor surgery in my girlfriends future.

Either appendix or gallbladder removal. Or maybe both I guess. Sigh.

Now I know how my mom felt those times I was laid up in chop for my shunt

appendix and gallbladder are easy, she will be fine, what hospital is she at?

She's at grandview in sellersville

Waiting for the one gallbladder test to come back. That will be the final decision. Not sure if theyll do the appendix at the same time. Might be a request thing or whatever.

Not worried about it. Just have to hope they have the ability to get her into surgery today. Originally they weren't gonna run the test until Monday but the lady was here. Surgeon is in the building so we'll see what happens

Most of the time its done lapriscopicly and thats can be down as an outpatient procedure so im sure she will recover fast.

Yeah. Surgery is at 10am tomorrow and shell be out Monday morning. Good stuff for sure

My friend had his gall bladder out. He was up walking around same day a few hours later. They pump you full of air so he was a bit bloated but otherwise fine. Good luck nonetheless.

You end up burping the air out. My dad had a tumor removed from his kidney and they pumped him up with air. They actually gave him some kind of foam pillow push on his stomach so he'd burp the air out.

Everything went well. Was a good decision on the doctors part to take it out because apparently it was "rotten" upon removal. She's being released tomorrow but already feels 100% better. Just exhausted and hungry. it'll take some time but she's on her way to being well again
