It is not about being fat or lazy. A lot of people in the car world enjoy modifying their cars. However, when it comes down to actually doing something beyond bolt on, they just either don't have the tools, resources, or knowledge to build a turbo kit themselves. This is where these kits come into play because they are basically bolt on (if the car is popular), and they provide pretty good performance while at it.

But can you put a stage 1 kit and add 30HP and 90TQ for $600 installed without vioding the warrenty? Then tune it better then then GM preformance tune with HP tuners and add another 40+ HP? And the HHR SS can fit 10 dad hookers

We both like the Fusion, but in all reality, it is more then she wanted to spend because she wanted fully decked out, AWD, ect. HHR SS can be found for about $15k.

Yeah, the Fusion isn't cheap, but apparently once you crack into the new 3.5, 350hp+ isn't hard to manage.
