I rest my case.
About $5000 and whatever labor is to weld in subframe connectors, torque arm, rear swaybar, and cut/weld through floor subframe connectors. That's 100% non OEM suspension components and race spec dampers though.

Alternatively you could have just said 2011 GT.

Who am I kidding? You could've just said 2011.

Is that why there are gaps the size of the Grand Canyon between all of the body panels? Yep. Body kits sure are awesome.

Every new car has problems -- hell, every performance car has them. I can't name a single car of this generation (or ever) that is without flaws.

With that said, most of those problems impact a very small amount of cars.

By all of the body panels you mean between the bumper and fender?

It's because that car didn't have a motor in it when that picture was taken, IIRC. No point in putting the bumper on the right way of you need to take it right back off?

DSMs are reliable, their owners however are not. Kinda like how 240s/civics get riced out due to their owners trying to gain "style points" and it gives them a bad reputation.

I have only had my DSM fail once on me in the last 5 years that I have been daily driving it and guess what? I knew it was going to fail but was way to busy to address the problem and just kept driving with a grinding rear brake until the pad finally jumped out and locked up the rear brakes.

For example I know my starter is broken in half and I am too stupid to replace it because it still starts the car fine, but could the starter split completely in half parts of it fall and take out my trans, clutch, flywheel? sure, will it be the cars fault? No.

To me mitsubishis, DSMs in particular have no weaknesses. The cars are simple, have a ton of support, handle power no problem, and if you know what you are doing they are perfect daily drivers that can get you through any weather.

I knew everyone except seanzors would get butthurted. I love dsm's, but you can't clench your butthole everytime someone says something that isnt in 100% support.

That's like shooting someone who speaks out against the government oh wait...

Im def not butt hurt. We have 6 Turbo mitsubishis at my house now that I can get into and drive anywhere I want reliably all of which I have been built by myself and my brother, having 6 boosted cars that you personally can get in and start and drive reliably says something about the misconception of unreliability for boosted mitsubishis. I am not a magician, I am not wizard, I am not a mechanic. I am just an average guy and I consider myself a fairly reliable owner that knows that cars fall apart when you let them fall apart there is no magic to it.

I don't really get upset about it, because I do have plenty of running cars I just think people spread the unreliability misconception like AIDS. I just think people neglect their 15+year old DSMs and wonder why they break, so instead of trying to fix their own personal flaws they just blame the cars.

I heard Gill's car breaks a lot... but that's probably because it's the fastest one

AWD = traction = breaks things
old car = more likely to break
old car = cheaper = easier for idiots to obtain
turbo car = easier for idiots to **** up

Alex hit it on the head though.

Gills car is actually awesome now I finally dialed her car in after all these years (the learning curve on her car was a little steep). We took arts car apart last week to try to make it faster than Gills, We are in the middle of porting and polishing his heads and installing bigger turbos. Cant let that **** be queen of the crib for too long **** gets to bitches heads. Got bitches runnin round like KrayZ.

Hopefully I will have my meth injection working on my talon next week so I can take both of them down.

And foolin I aint butthurt, Id be butt hurt if I had 6 non running Mitsubishis, the unreliability thing doesn't even apply to my cars.

It would be like you saying the Nword to me and then being like umad craka after I explained to you how its wrong to say that word? Then youd be like uuuuuuuumadddddd.

Youfeelme.jpg?

This whole thread is a giant troll, Since you didnt post back in the OG NJ chat thread that got shut down you might not be aware. Me and Ciotti are the OG NJ chat trolls. But I guess for him trolling aint easy.

Not gonna lie this thread and the old BBchat thread are the only things that bring me to TST.
