Just sayin', a race car is always a show car, and that never changes.

also just an fyi, your "style" will probably end up becoming the equivalent of lambo doors in five years

I won't try to pretend that i have some golden aesthetic eye, though. If I walk up to it and I smile, it's good to me. That's all that matters.

I fail to see any style what so ever, I was trying to say... how can someone criticize something when they dont even know what there looking at, its like ok.. I recognise all of those parts on that car, and I know what "look" they were going for but they should of done this diffriently, instead just calling something an "abomination" that, is "ignorant".

I think Tom hit it on the head about the whole stance nation and aesthetics of a car being a direct cause of a poor economy.

Do you mean directly caused by the poor economy? Anyone can buy cheap coils and slam their econobox and "look sick". It takes money and half a brain to build a fast car.

oh yea I meant to say the poor economy is the reason we have stance nation and moar low, stretched tires, etc **** like that. Its all toms ideas but I cant aggree more. for example buy 10.5 inch wide rims but can only afford to put 205 series tires on cause they are cheaper than a 345 series tire, etc.

Not to mention with going fast sometimes it takes various different set ups and blown up motors/broken parts/blown turbos/ etc to make the fastest car you can. aka $$$$$$$$. Stance nation = Rims, paint, bodykits, tires, coils/springs which is all cut and dry.

edit: you need to have a good eye, it's more of an art than anything, but when people say that certain cars are "abominations" it kind of makes you look ignorant and I can only help but to feel bad for you due to the severe lack of creativity, imagination, passion and most of all STYLE that the majority tends to lack these days.
I thought you and fro were on the same team? Why are you raggin on him?

sure anyone can hate but at the end of the day do what makes you happy. because Im going to do what I want to do, and your going to do what you want to do.

go ahad talk about an fittings and twin wastegate setups, thats cool too, but dont go talking about what "abominations" these cars are when that have more STYLE than you can even wrap your mind around.
Dude. Keep doing what you're doing, man. I know no matter what I say in this post, I won't make you spend money on go-fast parts. And I'm fine with that.

I for one, won't waste an ounce...a gram...of my mind on style. I'd rather use my mind figuring out how to mount the enormous intercoolers I have sitting in the basement.

Not always true, but true 99% of the time. Can someone show me a link of a car on Stance Nation, Camber Digest, or whatever the hell these "style" people are fapping to these days of a car that actually has balls?

You get the hint by now. Not every "stanced" car is all about hellaflush bull****. I love DSM's on just springs just a little less wheel gap(especially 1ga), but I do appreciate lowered cars as well.

That "drift car" is repulsive. Rest of them actually look good, but they're also not exactly the "stanced" "hellaflush" turds I'm talking about. Slammed cars suck at everything. They'd drift faster, turn faster, and accelerate faster if they weren't so low.

Those cars are awesome. But these are the kind of cars I'm generally talking about:

Most of those cars look like they're setup to slide.

Also you guys grouped them together as one,I show you opposites, then you break them up. There are ugly body kitted DSM's and Brostangs out there(and vettes since seanzors hates brostangs) that could be fast, but then they're ugly. So stereotypes need to die.

The drift car is ugly but it does look like it gets used for drifting, dont know if its fast or good at drifting.

Also notice all the actually sick cars have properly matched tires to go with the rims?

For every 1 Kitted DSM or mitsubishi for that matter there is over 100 that rock the stock body style. Why? Going fast is way more important than a cute body kit.
