im hoping my next car will be a wrx or straight to an sti...in white of course...although your gorgeous black just kills all others

Thanks again for the comments guys... I'd honestly prefer to be driving it than being an interior decorator in the engine bay which is why this is probably the first and last engine bay that I paint, but its been a good experience for sure. With winter here I don't feel any rush so I'm just working on slow and steady progress, and even if I'm only over there 1 or 2 times a week lately I am researching info or parts just about every day online at home... it definitely keeps me occupied.
I won't drive it much in the winter, but I'll probably take it out from time to time. Its just a car... and its meant to be driven

As for the purple... red was the only other choice that I felt would look good, but I just wanted to do something a little different. The idea is to have everything either gloss black or polished, with bits of the purple here and there as an accent color. Not too much though... its pretty flashy so I dont want to overdo it.

And yeah, no internet there... it sucks when I can't research something on site but its good because I don't have that distraction while I'm working on the car.

And on topic... so sometimes timing is just crappy. I bought that ebay downpipe/midpipe and we cut/mocked/tacked it in place a couple weeks ago. Last week I dropped it off to be welded for real and to be ceramic coated. A couple days after I dropped it off, I saw a genuine Boost Logic 4" downpipe for sale used at a fair price. I had been looking for a used one for months before this popped up because I wasn't about to spend $900 + shipping + tax on a new BL downpipe/midpipe, but no used ones were coming up for sale.
Well I was frustrated but I bought it... so now I have 2 downpipes... the BL just arrived yesterday. Very similar all around to the ebay which I knew, but I'm hoping that it gives me a little better fitment with more clearance because the ebay one is really tight. The BL didn't come with the midpipe though so that will still be fabbed up with the flex section that I bought, which is fine with me.

She meant the other downpipe... haha... I guess I'll be selling it but I need to confirm that the Boost Logic one actually does fit better... I think it should though.

yes i would like to keep things a little cleaner *coughcough* so lets all try to work toward keeping it on the subject of the supra only.
but you can always just flip through the page until you see a chunk of photos, thats what i do
