forgot i had this thread on here, ive been just posting to facebook.

well the living room is pretty much done except for some trim and little things. next the kitchen obviously got ripped out, which then after removing 5 layers of vinyl floor discovered that termites got to the sub floor. so ripped that all out down to the beams, with new subfloor new kitchen window and all new sheetrock it was time for the cabinets to be installed. so without counters for like 3 weeks after the cabinets were in the granite guys came today and installed some amazing granite counters! ill upload some more pics as i start doing all the finish work.

yea its only like 11 inches cause i didnt want something too big, i have just enough hangover into the living room and just enough on the kitchen side to where it wont get in the way when the kitchen table is finally in there. its been a very tiring and expensive year thats for sure, between the house and trying to finish my car....

I really want to buy a house myself but I am waiting for the economy to turn around and then buy with cash.

My fiance looked a little sad when I said we will have the cash when we buy a house. HAHA But then she just said she will have to save more.

Thanks guys, it def feels like a totally different house. I can't wait to see the finished pics and before pics next to each other. Have to figure out what kinda floor I wanna do in kitchen I'm leaning towards slate. It looks really nice and its natural stone so no fake tile look. I just wanna come home from work and plop my ass on the couch and be like wow I built this...
