yea man buy a really beat up 80cc dirtbike... perfect motor for a go kart... or maybe a 125. you got clutch, fun power band thats not way too much for a kart in a yard... best of all... theyre cheap

most 80's ive found were semi auto found a few older 2 stroke 80's and 4 stroke 125's though im thinking 4 stroke though. more torque

uhh 2 stroke 80 racers... like cr80 rm80 kx80 yz80 ... theyre all 2 stroke and 6 speed, maybe 5 speed

heres the kind of thing im talking about though... http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/mcy/1272245939.html beat up bike to use for the motor... you could probly give him like 2 or 3 hundred for it

ohh i was talking about 80/90 4 strokes
they were all semi auto

didnt look for an 80 2 stroke actually. i was kinda tired lol didnt think right

harder to drift with 2 people in the gokart
it only has 6 hp and a belt driven clutch haha its not exactly easy

i found a ninja 600 for 250 bucks
now i can even try drifting on pavement
i have the feeling this might be a mistake

Well then have someone film you while they aren't in the cart so we can really see what you can do!

My quad has about 56hp and weighs 400lbs so I guess I do have an advantage.

lol the gokart is about 250lbs and only has 6 hp plus 2 people in it adding an additional 240ish

id say you have a slight advantage... plus you have an actual clutch i dont really count mine as a clutch
