Displacement doesn't work in some exponential manner when it comes to parts. They are all air pumps, so in a relative aspect, adding an intake to XXX 2.8 motor and YYY 5.0 motor are going to see similar increases in power with similar parts, only beacuse you're helping with the VE of them...I mean you can't compare size to size...you need to see what engine is more efficient, and then use that percentage difference to see a change in a part.

For example (easy numbers for me) A 2.0 engine that makes 100 hp at 100% VE (theory) and gains 10 hp with an intake is great. An 3.0 engine that makes 200 hp at 90% VE (theory) thta gains 9 hp from an intake is great...see where I'm going with this? Size doesn't make the difference (well it can help, but its' not the deciding factor) Put a better cam in the LS1 to make it breath better, and surely you'll see much larger gains (400+ hp)....but ****tier cams in the F20c, and you'll see much smaller gains...etc etc.

Thats why I'm thinking your intake bridge is majorly restrictive. Its prolly better than stock, but just think how much better the flow would be if you redesigned that section.
Look under the hood of one, instead of Internet RDing please. I'd love to shove the ehxaust right out my side fender too...but ya just don't...

There are plenty of big power cars out there making great HP with these intakes.

Seven your numbers are a little low but I would blame that on the 80 degress and humidity. How much timing did they add and what a/f were you guys shooting for? Also what kind of dyno was this on. I would think you should be more towards the 360 rwhp mark
I didn't check timing or A/F. I trust the tuner honestly, I've known him for years, not to mention after 4.5 hours under the car I was beat and was just gonna let him do it. Dyno is a Mustang dyno.

pretty much. I do eventually want big power... but right now only a cam or nitrous can do that quickly or cheaply.

I really wouldn't worry seems like once you start bolting on the more serious stuff cam's an heads you really start to bump HP pretty quickly. On LS1 Tech dude's are making 415-430 with just small Daily Driveable cams an almost 450+ on serious drag cam's let alone you add heads an your well over 500+. Gotta remember though a S2k vs a Vette isnt even a race its more of a waste of time.

So I've got some small updates...
Bought some new stuff - raced some new stuff... etc...

Corvettes at carlisle was this weekend... Picked up a Kirban short shifter and a used (8k miles - from a friend) Textralia OZ700 X-grip clutch (for a steal!), and I will be buying a new shift knob as well.
Also found out after a few track days and 7500 miles my front tires are shot and the rears aren't much better ... so no more track days and no rainy days in this car. I'm gonna nurse the tires til the end of the season when I can buy a new set of wheels AND tires (probably 2 sets - track/street).

Stuff to be installed yet...
-Clear corners with switchbacks
-180 T-stat
-Textralia clutch
-kirban shifter and a knob

Would also like to buy and install...
-Halo LED taillights
-Texas-Speed Tsunami cam with springs/pushrods

Also ... last night on the way to the red robin meet, and on the way home I had some races... results...
-E46 M3 Vert and a Coupe both with intake/exhaust - Won... walked away hard
-S13 240SX with GT2871R running 10 psi - won by about 2 car lengths (even tho TCS chopped the power for like 2 full seconds after the 3-4 shift)
-05 CTS-V - LS6 - with exhaust and intake (iirc) - won, not sure on the margin but more than 2 car lengths
-And I managed to keep some older (early 2000s) 600cc sportbike at bay from 70-140... he couldn't get past me but he was gaining on me.
