Tim, the car is looking great bro. Did you decided what turbo your going with??

And I'm sorry but I also have to add that Rich is a stand up guy, and is always there for me when I have a question. I also had work done to my supra by Rich, and he did an outstanding job and I was able to pick it up sooner then I thought I would.

Again Tim congrats, and I can't wait to see it.

I decided to keep the PT67GTQ for now. If I went with the GT4508, I would need more stuff that I don't really have the funds to upgrade at this point in time. I'd be pushing too much power for my BL built Toyota tranny, so that would need to be replaced with either a TH400 or 4L80e (the latter being my preference)...and I would also need to upgrade to at least a 4" exhaust since my 3" would be too restrictive. The best order would be to do the ECU, then transmission, and finally a turbo/exhaust after that. I'm not even sure if the GT4508 would clear my manifold because the angle that my manifold sets the turbo at. Most 2J manifolds have the turbo on a slight angle towards the passenger side headlight. The RPS Big Torque manifold sets the turbo so that the inlet is parallel to the head. So if I can't find a turbo to fit, I may need to swap out my manifold too, which means only 1 thing....time for a T6 divided with 47-88 bolted to it.

I'm only doing it because I don't want to go through the hell of putting a 6-speed in the car. I'd much rather take a sledge to the trans tunnel to fit the 4L80e. LOL

how much power u shooting for? won't a/your built/upgraded Toyota auto trans hold a good amount? like around 500-600? I know theres some 10 second supras on the stock toyota auto trans.

i just don't like cars that shift themselves. idk.

anywhere from 750-900 on the 67mm. Should jump to 1050-1150RWHP on the GT4508.

Never said I was running just boost

I'm hoping to pipe in 35-40psi(depending on the VE of the turbo) with some VP Import, laughing gas and possibly meth too.

haha, well that would explain the high numbers. 40psi is a hella lot though. what kind of internals r u running? be careful man, i've seen a few 2jzs overboosted and go caput. (including Rich's) lol.
