I was just starting my first day of highschool because we just cleared up our school's strike!!!! i remember it like it was yesturday. Freshmen years 1st period American history

it happened between classes, i was walking into my physics class when the principal came on the loud speaker asking all the teachers to put the news on... saying that a plane had hit one of the world trade center buildings... i figured it was a small prop plane... boy was i wrong... my teacher let us watch it for a bit... thinking the same thing we all did "no big deal"... and we resumed class... minutes later.... another announcement that a second plate had hit... and the world was never the same.

I worked at Bob Maguires GM parts warehouse. I was getting some parts together for some of our drivers to take on a run, and listening to Howard Stern. I remember him mentioning it, and the other guy on there saying that Howard was practicing to be the next Tom Brocaw (Spelling?) Then someone ran by saying the Twin Towers got hit by a plane, I was like WTF!! Didn't click in at first..We all ended up in the bosses office watching it all on his TV

I was at a friends house, we were online and somebody IMed us saying they were taking down the WTC. We were like yea right! Then he insisted that we turned on the TV and when we did the second plane came out of nowhere and BOOM!

I was working at a jobsite outside of Graterford State Prison. I remember the alarm going off and the place going into lockdown. A lot of the gaurds were national gaurd and having to rush out of there. I lived near the philly airport at the time. not seeing the planes on approach and departure every morning and evening for the next week was really spooky. I grew up there and the silence of no planes was actually audible ..... if that makes any sense.

sister luckily took the day off...she worked in wtc1
lost friends that day... worked in wtc2 for five years..
was there when it was bombed... had to walk 88 flights down...
