no condescending attitude, just warning you and everyone else on this forum that its not that easy, get off the defensive and lighten up a little... **** happens, both your stories proved that, i know a few ppl who didnt know this until the judge was cuttin their license up

Anyway, like I asked .. Does anyone know anything about these 'safe driving' classes? I'd like to take one.
search around or call the dmv, but i dont know if PA even has it to be honest...

And I was told after my first suspension that your license is automatically suspended when you go OVER six points -- I believe six is the most you can have and still keep your license. The first suspension is 30 days. Also, if you manage to get up to 11 points (whether you've had previous suspensions or not), you automatically lose your license for 90 days.
in PA, if your under 18 you cant have six or more points or its a 90 day suspen the first time, and 120 days anytime after that. Over eighteen with 6 or more points you need to pass a test to not have a suspension the first time, and then the second time and third time you have a hearing about your license and suspension possibilities. 11 or more points is an automatic suspension based on the amount of times your license has been suspended before, if its your first suspension its 5 days per point, second suspension is 10 days per point, and so on.

And it's three points that comes off every year after your last moving violation or suspension? I thought it was only two ..
its three...
google saves lives, or googe as someone pointed out

i could never have my license suspended, i would be so screwed emotionally and economically, ill never let that happen...
smart driving, police friends, and lawyers... whatever it takes FTW

Call AAA or local DMV for the defensive driving program.

Edit: I just had a thought, not that it even matters anymore. The first time I had my license suspended, it's cause I skyrocketed to 11 points. But .. you said that the first time it's suspended (if you've reached 11 points), that you get 5 days per point. So that means I should've had my license suspended for 55 days, yes? Then why was mine suspended for 90? .. I think the DMV itself doesn't even know what they're supposed to be doing.

Were you under 18? If so, that would be it.

Also, when you take that points test 2 points come off when you pass. It has to be easy as ****.

As for suspensions. If I ever get suspended, screw that, I am not wasting a whole summer not driving...I'll drive suspended.

So I read through that .. and it only left me more confused. I was over 18, I'd never had my license suspended before. The first time I went over 6 points was when I had accumulated a total of 11 points -- but even according to that post, it should've only been suspended for 55 days. So I still don't understand why I got 90.

Bah, oh well! Not like I'm gonna have to worry about it again.

I had 5 due to 1 speeding violation.

Lost 3 last year, hoping to lose the last 2 this year.

Somone was driving slow as hell in the right lane on a 4th of july weekend. Like, 15mph in a 35. Well, I went to pass him and while passing, ended up blowing through a speed trap at 58mph.

12 points on my NJ license. I should have well over 30, but I always get a good lawyer and get the points knocked down a lot.

5 points on my PA license

I have a thing for speeding/stupid things. Every point was either speeding, wreckless, or driving on a suspended license. Knock on wood, the only time my car has come in contact with another car it wasn't my fault.
