haha yeah that the basic gist of that pic

the only bad tthing i can think of on the smith classic is that the feed rail is about twice as long as most other guns. still works well but make sure its clean. might even want to polish it

Well as i said in here before, my dad knows a lot of Abington Cops. We stopped by his friends body shop in Abington today and this guy has all the Abington contracts (school, fire, police). While we were sitting in the body shops office the Abington PD weapons instructor stopped in (ironic? haha) I started talking with him and showed me that Abington issues the same model S&W. The owner of the body shop just bought a Sig Sauer (sp?). The owner and the officer both talked about how nicely the Sig operated, and while neither one made a put down towards the Glocks, they both recommended the S&W for my first gun.

When I got to the sport shop, I held a Sig, a .40cal Glock and also the S&W. The S&W felt most comfortable in my hand, and was also the more reasonable choice. It has a feature that the other guns dont have. I think its called the magazine disconnect. I can NOT **** something up on this gun, lol. As long as I drop the mag, it WILL NOT fire. Its also got the standard safety feature, so my chances of accidentally popping one of on myself are reduced while I'm learning to handle it, haha.
