8:41 Around the nuremberg in 2003, that was my best time out of 4 runs in a manual 330ci. I guess I can match the performance to an M3 now...

You're still making things up?? LMFAO!

SHow me where I said that 18 seconds, (or 36 seconds) wasn't a lot. LEARN TO READ. I guess everyone calling is at the same level of intelligence as you (not very high, at least in reading comprehension).

He is mocking you. You did not state anything about seconds, he is just saying that "Similar" performance is way off base.

Since you don't have any REAL WORLD EXPERIENCE with them (just made up), here is the best we can do for now...

Nuburgring lap time:
1) M3: 8:22 minutes
2) C55: 8:22 minutes
3) 335i: 8:26 minutes

Hockenheim lap time:
1) M3: 1.17,6 minutes
2) 335i: 1.17.8 minutes
3) C55: 1.18,6 minutes
4) S4 Avant: 1.19,1 minutes

0-200-0 km/h
1) M3: 23.2 seconds
2) C55: 23.7 seconds
3) 335i: 26.3 seconds
4) S4 Avant: 26.4 seconds

Transverse acceleration:
1) 335i: 1.15 g
2) M3: 1.10 g
3) C55: 1.10 g
4) S4 Avant: 1.05 g

Slalom course (36m)
1) 335i: 136 km/h
2) M3: 123 km/h
3) C55: 122 km/h
4) S4 Avant: 121 km/h

Evasive course (110m)
1) 335i: 136 km/h
2) M3: 136 km/h
3) C55: 134 km/h
4) S4 Avant: 130 km/h

Total points indicative of the “overall assessment”
1) 335i: 45
2) M3: 44
3) C55: 42
4) S4 Avant: 37

So yes, SIMILAR is an understatement

I was at Nuburgring 2 months ago and ran the 335 to a 7:42. Yep, it's true. The 335 is DEFINATELY faster around the ring compared to the M3, however, I didn't manage a 7:58 out of the m. I don't have anything to back this up with, but it really did happen

That's kind of fun making things up like you two!

Just give it up; the M3 is not Gods gift when compared to the 335i. The 335i more than holds its' own. I fail to see why you two half-wits are arguing this.

Yea?? I love those times you have posed also. WHy dont you try and post some times where the Driver of the car is the one posting times for Both cars not 2 different people driving.. Dumbas$...

Just like car and driver said the Cayman outdrives and out accels the Z4M..

hmm they were wrongggggg..... they put an incapable driver behind the wheel of a Z4m coupe. On the twisties the cayman is slighly better, in the 0-60 the Cayman is capable of 5 seconds flat with the right tires and driver. In a point to point Radar test I pulled a 4.401 0-60MPH and thats an Actual 0-60 which is 63 MPH on the speedo if you didnt know.

Sure, I'll post 10 more sources and you will still make up things about knowing BMW racecar drivers who say differently It's hardly worth my time. It's not worth having a conversation with somebody who is making everything up (CLEARLY) while the other person is posting facts, or actual recorded data, no matter how miniscule it actually is.
