i probably made $500...

just kidding, but shut up d.

if you want to do the math and can find a 6mt with everything you need for the swap for $3000, then figure you can sell your stock 5mt for $1000, then total cost would be about $2000 for the upgrade. these rough numbers are assuming that you're using your stock wrx rear end and brakes.

Did you use the stock R160 with 3.90 gears or did you put in the r180?

How about your swap? I'm just trying to get a feel for it. Nitro Don has a complete rear with hubs and brembo's for $900.00. I'm wondering it if worth the upgrade.

I was going to buy the r180 with the brembo's from him as well but my wheels were not here in time so I couldn't clear the brembo's on stock wheels, hense why I am on a 3.90 R160.

The 3.90 R & P goes for $200, then atleast $250-300 to install it so for the extra cash I say go with the r180 swap dude. If I didn't sell my old wheels or if I had my new wheels in time I would definately have it.

Cool. I'm already running 18's with both bolt patterns so that should help if it's an 05 rear.

Thanks for the heads up on costs.

no, you don't want an 05 rear

That means you will need to change your wheels and buy new wheels with a 5x114.3 bolt pattern!
