i dont really think there is any comparison here. if you can afford a wrx, there is
no contest. you will hate that lancer in a month if not sooner, and if u test
drive both, you will probably laugh at the fact that u even thought about this
comparison

Yes, for a friend. Thats Ill Ill say. personally for 12g's or what ever they cost Id be lookin for a good condition 300zx, then savin up over the summer for the twin turbo's. But different people like different things. I just so happen to be all about nissans. Id rather make power+ Have boost on top of it. Im not a fan off my car sucks if it didnt have the turbo.

you would spend 12gs on a NA 300zx and then do a TT swap? To me that sounds like a huge waste of money. I know this is hypothetical, but I would just WAIT until I could afford the TT 300 in the first place. Or get a beater, OR bum rides all summer.

If I was looking for a 2nd car to be a daily driver, and do some light modding-- the newer style lancers would definitely be a possiblility for me. I think they look good.

I am sure you can get a 300zx TT for under 12 grand.

300ztt on here got his for 6 grand....

jesus flipping christ!!! Could everyone whine and complain anymore? You are comparing apples to oranges in the first place. Basically its like this stock for stock the wrx will outperform and outhandle the lancer. Make your own decision and not give a s*** what everyone else thinks. Whether or not I get flammed below is a picture of my lancer as it sits now. I love it and wouldnt trade it for the world. As well I did not spend that much money to get the car going a bit faster.

I also just purchase the following upgrades will probably only take me between 220-240whp but for a 90whp stock car I dont think those are bad numbers!!!

Get the Oz Rally. It is cheaper than the wrx, no gears to worry about, and insurance is low since no one wants to steal it and it isn't turbo. You can probably find a used one cheap and then pay it off quick. Keep it stock and use the money you save to get a better car.
