Not a fan of the sti badge either lol. But other than that I like it. Good choice with the gold RPF1's.

^^ I'm not sure the STI strut bar is legal for my autocross class or I'd consider buying it, lol.

Did some things today. Oil change, diff oil change, GT3 brake air guides, OEM mudflaps, installed the RPF1s and tires and took it for a mini-photoshoot

GT3 air guides for the brakes:

OEM mudflaps:

The mudflaps aren't going to do much to protect the sides of the car or the rear bumper

Mini-photoshoot trip:

Oh and I got ready for autocross (tested magnetic numbers, heh)

Thanks. I'm super stoked how it looks. I've always loved the WRB and gold combo since seeing the early WRXs and STIs in the states at STPR.

Car looks great buddy, glad to see someone that actually drives their car and not just hard parks. Have to say that i'm not a fan of the STI badge though, and i'm sure once they do release a STI version and you have everyone asking you if its an STI, it'll get old real quick lol.

Haha, I guess I'll find out, though I doubt they'll release an STI model here! Thanks!

Sorta unrelated to the BRZ... I've been doing racing in iRacing for a few years now.

I've been working at this for a while! I've been doing "big grid" races in the Spec Racer Ford for a while which are tons of fun. Big fields of ~40+ cars and some of the very best talent that iRacing has to offer. I've worked my way up from a top 10 to a top 5 to a 2nd (after penalties applied, I was 3rd on track) and now finally a win today. I decided that I never wanted to "lose" performance in these big season end races and I've succeeded

The race was wild too, I started 8th and worked my way up in some crazy 4 car wide draft battles at Watkins Glen. I'm not going to forget this moment for a while :D

Unfortunately no race broadcast from this event, but here's one from the last event that I ran in the fall:

they won't. brz's already have a hard enough time selling because they aren't practical. they're sitting all over subaru lots and getting traded in constantly. they did a ridiculous deal on mine just to get it moved off the lot. making an STI version wouldn't make sense because the people that buy that take away from potential wrx buyers. but then again, i don't have a fancy smiley face and an ellipses

but good job on the car. looks awesome!

Theres no reason not to create one. There is not a market for them now because the of the lack of speed.

I dont think your comment about taking away from WRX buyers is accurate either. They have legacy GT's/SpecB's, forester XT's as well as outback XT's. Those are all geared to people who want turbo 5 speeds without the body of the wrx for whatever reason, be it more room or just desire to be different. An STi BRZ would fit into the same category.

I doubt they'll make one, mostly because of Toyota's involvement. If it was purely Subaru I'd bet on a turbo version.
