Yeah, hopefully. I'm tired of looking for a job, and glad that I finally got something going for once.

I'm grumpy about the sonic meet. This whole thing reeks of commercialism in the name of charity. If we were donating to make a wish why does the pay pal donation link to the sonic meet. I sincerely hope I'm wrong but I tend not to be when I get these feelings. That's all I'll say on it. I'll be there regardless.

Maybe the PayPal link is to donate to Make-A-Wish and therefore receive advertising or recognition or something at the Sonic meet....

How many times can we list that 100% of proceeds are going to Make-A-Wish? If you're unsure, I'm not sure why you would assume the worst and run with it.

Make-A-Wish would prefer a single large easy check vs. hundreds (or thousands) of small individual donations, and that is what we are doing for them. The donations are coming through me, being tracked, and donated in full to Make-A-Wish. I can't wait to be able to get up a grand total that we raised, hand it over to Make-A-Wish, and know that as a community we helped bring a child his dream. Thats really something worthwhile, and its awesome that we're able to do that as a community of enthusiasts and local businesses.

100% of proceeds are being donated to Make-A-Wish!
100% of proceeds are being donated to Make-A-Wish!
100% of proceeds are being donated to Make-A-Wish!
100% of proceeds are being donated to Make-A-Wish!

Beyond that, TST is DONATING 25% of any merchandise sales at the event to Make-A-Wish.
(Sonic is also donating 10% of all sales from 12-5pm on the day of the event... so awesome of them. Thanks Sonic!)

We have worked hard to put this together this year because we wanted to do something good for the community. Its just shocking to me that anyone would assume the worst regarding a charity event instead of either giving us the benefit of the doubt, or simply asking for clarification.

So... if anyone else has any questions or concerns then please get in touch. I guess in this day and age its hard to believe that anyone would work so hard on something thats entirely for charity? Well, here's an opportunity to change that way of thinking...

I'm pretty sure you cant see the email that the paypal sends to anyway, just that its called The Sonic Meet which is what the guy who set it up named it. well... you are a jew ;)

but to be fair, we're in america... we're on earth... the dollar bill is the bottom line and it's pretty easy to assume, and in most cases be right, that a charity event is going to contribute to the bank accounts of more than just the charity... happens all the time, unfortunately
