Looks like it's pretty bad over in the eastern/southeastern part of the state. Be safe guys. Once again, we got enough to make travel obnoxious this morning and that's about it.

Office was closed for me yesterday which means I barely did any work. Today was ok drive but once I got into Conshy, side roads were not the best.

Yeah and some people are saying a lot on Saturday/Sunday? I emailed someone about a Craftsman snow blower that had some age to it, but it was $100. Back then they were built well. My back won't be able to handle a lot of this.

The funeral business is always a joy in this weather: delayed/cancelled burials, plowing, etc etc. I've worked just shy of 50hrs since Saturday morning including a memorable trek in the middle of the night to Lakewood, NJ while the rain at the time was changing over to snow. I'm going to have to write a love letter to Toyota just to tell them how good their AWD Siennas are to this young undertaker in all sorts of precarious situations.

Good luck to everyone else getting home and around.

It was in the 80s in FL this weekend, but I miss the snow to be honest. Don't know if I miss the cold overall, but I definitely miss the snow.

I can't seem to find a decent snow blower under 300 around here. Probably going to hold out until summer and hope I can snag a decent craigslist deal. This heavy stuff is definitely hard on the back.

A snow blower is definitely something to splurge on. I paid $600 for mine used off craigslist. It's a craftsman, 9hp beast and I love it, and I am open to selling it, my buddy has one he will sell me for cheap that is even better. None the less, get something that is big and will cut thru the tough stuff, otherwise whats the point. I can shovel the light crap, i need something to take care of when my driveway is plowed in nearly 18" deep of ice.

Buy one on CL. Most dumbasses don't store them properly and sell them because they don't run good a few years later. Clean the carb and do basic maintance and they are like brand new again.

All you have to do is keep up on maintenance and they last for years like Jay said. I'm looking at good two stage snow blowers. There's one near where my wifes parents live for $125. Guy said paint is chipping not that I care, and doesn't run it's best at high rpms. Just need to mess with the carb a bit probably. There are so many on craigslist. Name your price when you go to ask about them since there are so many on there.
