How far are you from Hazleton PA? I can do your timing if you are close or are close enough to bring the engine by. I can help you over the phone, But in person is much easier being it's a simple task when you've done more then a few.


TalonTsi97: Does your engine have a spun bearing? If so, Did it just happen out of no where? Are you going to build a motor, Or just replace it with a stock motor? I think I've only ever seen one picture of your car, And it was on dsmtuners.

A month or so ago, It seemed like every gsx I had was either red, or painted red. Now every gsx i'm buying this month, Seems to be black. I am getting a mass amount of black cars this month. I just need to color-change them all!

in other news, i was buttoning everything up and about to put the trans onto the block so everything could finally go back into the car after this long build and my wife says "ummm...what just fell on the ground". i looked and picked it up.....the tob broke!! such a heartache! so close to finishing but of course SOMETHING had to go wrong to halt my progress!

You didn't replace the TOB and clip? Wouldn't hurt to do the fork and pivot ball too since its still out.

Nothing exciting has happened recently with my car. I have a bolt broken off in my exhaust housing. I really f'd up the threads trying to get the last stuck bolt out. I went to order one of those 7cm off ebay and they're on a 5 week back order. Until I get a new exhaust housing for my 16g (I'll take a 6cm or 7cm one at this point), it won't be seeing the track.

A 14b housing will not work, Correct? If it did, I have one you can have if you came to pick it up. I give them away for free because I have TONS of them. I already gave away a bunch of the evoIII 16g turbine housings that I had, And now have none left. When someone wanted one, They took them first being they were bigger/better, I guess.

Other then that, Josh is a good person and I have sold and bought stuff off him for quite some time , So he is definatly a good person to get one from, if you are looking to buy one.

The 14b housing is 6cm and will work. It's actually what I'm running right now. The spool with it on a 16g is nice, but it's starting to choke my top end. I'm looking for a 7cm housing now if I can find one.

I'd come pick a 14b housing up just to run for now but it's not worth the cost of gas to drive to your place and back. If I had a little more money and was interested in a few more parts I'd make the drive.

I have a bunch listed in a forsale ad, But that is about 1/4 of the stuff I have, Being I cannot take the time to actual go through everything, Knowing it would take a few weeks. I have an ''unlimited amount'' of anything to do with these cars, So just let me know if you ever needed anything.
