I would loosen what you can and see I'd you can wiggle the manifold around and get a different angle. If not where is this? I'd swing by to try and help if you need it

Loosen both at the same time. The bolts weren't put in place then header built around them... lol.

Enjoying the new job doing interiors in street rods/classics. $15/hr to start/training and going up from there. In process of recovering early 70s TransAm seats, doing a full interior in a 34 Model A sedan, and just finished a rough-in for a full console and rear center with flip up cubby in a 43 Chevy Coupe.

On a bad note, some jackass trucker hit the underside of a bridge just inside Jersey I think it was, near the Ben Franklin bridge on Thursday last week and I hit some of the debris and it nicked the back right tire on the sidewall that is only a year old (discovered Friday). Also, on the drive home I was 2 miles from Morgantown exit on 76 and a cap/bearings for the front universal joint decided to leave the driveshaft at 70mph so there was a loud bouncing sound from it ejecting and the truck started violently shaking. This was at 5:03pm and I called 3 service shops and the Chevy dealer right off the exit and they all 'closed' at 5pm. (scheduled an appointment at the Chevy dealer for them to replace it that Friday morning, they never made a follow up call to see where I/my truck was).

On a good note from that, I drove it 10-15mph the 2 miles off then another 1.5 miles to AutoZone near the old Sonic where TST had spring meets and swapped the universal joint in under 25 minutes in the parking lot renting a ball/Ujoint press and buying a breaker bar / socket that I then returned and a pick set.

Well I survived my bachelor party and no one got arrested. I'm kind of surprised considering we had a big rowdy group.

Finally got it installed. Not as loud, but that's ok. I didn't want something to loud anyway.

Lol its all good. People just love to bash on others builds. Last I checked it was my car, not yours. Don't like it, move on don't say anything. So I gave up, and had it locked.

Start my new job tomorrow! 5 days unemployed. Not bad.

Working for jaco environmental picking up used appliances for recycling. Not bad and the warehouse is less than 3 miles from my house! Short commute ftw

Just got back from Pennsville. Hung out with the gf and the best friend, ended up not going real offroading but drove around some empty, wet, grassy fields and had a little photo op. Couple shots:

His house, my XC, his VXC and his moms XC90.

Mile and a half long straight, empty road.

There's a few more but I may post them in my member journal and not clutter up the OT thread too much :P

Sucker!

I should be paid to post on this forum. It sucks so much without me :-)

Congrats man. When I lost my job in 09 I almost **** myself worried and sold all my stuff I didn't need dirt cheap and quick to have a biggest nest egg. Found a job real quick and was so missed that I didn't have my bike or x-box anymore. Replaced the x-box but no bike... maybe I would solve that problem this winter

And on that note... peace bitches.

I'm surprised this forum still exists. It's only been down hill for the most part.

Yeah, this place has gone down hill. All people do here is bitch and moan if they don't get what they want.
