So, my mom told me that if i get a 4.0 this semester..she'll pay for the wheels im going with..i don't want her to pay for them..but i do. cuz i don't wanna get flamed on if o do..should i?

Why the hell you worried about what other people think? If I could have someone fund all my hobbies I couldn't care less what anyone else had to say about it.

It was a joke. But i cant stand people who are like "oh your parents pay for your insurance,mine dont because my parents left me to fend for myself at 18" Like that sucks for you but does that make you better then me? no.

I understand your point but it's also not the person's fault if their parents don't provide everything for them. Some parents are not capable of doing what others are and that's no reason to put someone else down for it..

As far as some people, being spoiled and bragging about it as if they're better than everyone else, that's annoying.

People called me spoiled in high school. I didn't party, i worked out 5 days a week, worked when i could and spent mostly all my time with family. Yes my dad bought my car for me. but it was because he didn't have to drive me to practice and school and ****. it made HIS life easier. people don't get that who i was friends with. that's why i'm working hard in school, i want to eventually be able to give my parents help if they need it, and not have to rely on them.

Where did i say provide everything? i made on example. I wish my parents paid for everything. And show me where i was putting them down when they waved it in my face that their parents didnt pay for ****....

So who said they were better because they were spoiled? go back and reread what i typed. Im spoiled because i go to college full time,and work 30 hours a week still. but have my parents pay for my phone and car insurance when i have it? I earned my keep through high school including paying for my cars and earned myself almost a free ride to a good university including room and board.

..... Uh, talk about knee jerk reaction? I wasn't saying YOU said any of it. Sheesh. I said 'people' that do so and so, not you do this and that. Good grief.

All I was saying was that there ARE people who will brag about the **** their parents do/provide for them and make fun of the people with poor parents/the person's poor parents. I'm also talking about the kids who will dick around in school, never have a job and will be supported by their parents for the entirety of their lives and will sit there and laugh at people who don't have that luxury.

And yes, you do work and work hard. I'm not talking about you so chill the **** out.
