I love my car but god damn it's slowwwww!!!!
I got mine done by Pro Tune Performance, they did it for I think just under $700. I took them a used set of headers, and they spent (IIRC) 10 hours on it because appearantly the headers were slightly warped. He said it was a royal pain in the ass..but they got it done. Had a problem with the exhaust getting loose where the headers meet the exhaust so I called him up on a Friday afternoon. He said bring it back that day if possible, doesnt matter what time they want to get it fixed asap so that it was done right.

I feel like everyone does boost with a mustang. I know it's the easiest way to get more power, but damn haha.

Anywhere from $400-$700 for installation. I have a set of Mac longtubes and O/R prochamber sitting in my room waiting to go on. I'm half tempted just to spray it till I can save up for boost.

I definately wouldn't mind coilovers but damn are they pricey. Might get some adjustable springs to compensate a little for my lowering springs.

exactly why. i did the NA cammed route and all for a while. NA power is fun, but not with such little cubes.....now id love a 351W based NA beast stroked to 400+ cubes. but with the small displacement i have boost was def the route to take. and now....i love boost too so no complaints haha. love the sound of my blower whistling loud as hell and then my procharger race bypass scaring the **** out of people.

i've just got to take care of the floaty front end... its driving me nuts... i'll buy the coilovers in about a month... month and a half. and a stiffer front sway bar. that should tighten the car up very nicely and lower it a couple inches and make it sit purdy while still handling very well.

after that i'm thinking tuner and long tubes. play with that for a little bit and save money

Yeah a grand isn't bad but a lot too fork over at once. That's just me though. If I wanted a crazy setup I'd find a drag racing setup for when I leave hard on the converter. I'm dying though when the auto shifts gears. Losing so much.

Subframe connectors will definaetly tighten it up as well.

you have stock suspension now? my buddy is looking for lowering springs for his 06 GT.

we just did a 5 speed swap, cams, cam springs in it.....that was fun. now just gotta finish hooking up the nitrous and then its going down to kevin @ wicked motorsports to get tuned. should be pretty quick. it already has intake, long tubes and full exhaust and fully built rear with 4.10s.

only reason its now lowered yet is because it has a cervinis front bumper on it that hangs too low so hes gunna ditch that for a stock one or a gt500 front end so he can lower it

subframe connectors should be a first mod for any mustang IMO. i was able to notice a difference within the first 10 feet of driving my car. felt so much tighter
