the company also sells 5 gallon kits, they take **** off the site if its not in stock, email them if you want better answers.

also, they claim the kit was designed for a NYC apartment, hence the size. iirc youve got your own house, so maybe you could expand/upsize a bit.

yup, its a great product. if you're brewing tonight, pop it now. it'll last for a couple days after you pop it. and leave it out of the fridge once you pop it

yes but its a great starter size and it'll be easy to manage.

figure 5 gallons is two cases worth of beer, or a full soda keg (which is right around 5 gallons).

however, he could easily manage 3-4 brews at a single time doing 1 gallon batches. its also a great size for testing new recipes

the problem with the kit i have, is that you ferment it in the glass thing, and the only way to do multiple recipes is to get another fermenter of sorts.

the cold sends the little ****ers into hibernation. they'll probably be fine though. if not you can still pitch it in and hope some that are alive reproduce (if they're alive they will) and ferment the beer. if they're not creating any bubbles in a day or two just head to keystone homebrew with the yeast packet and tell them you need another one

needed before consumption.

the remaining living yeast in the mix will continue to do their thing in the bottle. however without the gas (CO2) being able to escape from the sealed bottle it will mix into the beer and carbonate it. it takes a couple weeks for that to occur though.

but, feel free to taste before that... i always did... you'll also see just how much of an affect carbonation has on the flavor and how the flavor changes over time

Also piku if you read this, im only paranoid about burn in because i read stuff from 07 about it. But the tv has stuff to keep it from happening so i'll prob order the tv this week. Plus im not waiting 200 hours to play video games. Thats why im buying the damn thing to begin with lol

i've had my 46in lcd for over a year now, and no issue with burn in or dead pixels.
