It's the epitome of American Consumerism and Stupidity.

I swear someone has said, "Instead of building motors that are small and efficient, we're going to continue to build motors that rely on high displacement to make power."

Don't get me wrong, the LSx is a technological marvel with nearly 5 decades of engineering and research behind it, but I just think they suck.

Fro, I'm sorry but I have to disagree. A stock 6.0 GTO gets over 23 MPG highway; that's what a STi gets, but the GTO has 3.5 more liters of displacment and 4 more cylinders plus an additional 95 HP. Also an ls2 is quite small it's only 28 inches high and 29 inches long.

I'm pretty sure i read on nicoclub that they are forged internals? Iron blocks aluminum heads for sure.

SMH, and what sucks about them, not starting a fight but I do want to know your opinion on why they suck. And I hated the ls until I drop my boys ls7 swapped 240. For n/a they can definitely be fun. Oh and foolin ka's aren't forged stock but you can hit 500hp stock np. The block is definitely solid if you have any questions I have built a couple of ka-t's.
