My experience is closer to what Lagos said. Nothing is absolute but i have been told "you are too nice". In the end....balance is needed. I just dont know where to find it.

given what you told us yesterday about where you live...i cant imagine living there if i were half anything, except half white and the other half whiter.

I've never been one to base things off looks, personality is big for me, and dealing with my constant devotion to family. i think i have the perfect girlfriend, she balances me out very well.

I just happen to think most people, especially in the teens to late twenties happen to lack morals, self-respect, ethics, and the list goes on.. and that carries over to relationships. It's really not hard to be a good person.

i've traveled alot.

some place, ive had no problems (cept being a dumbass on my own), and other places, i couldn't get the time of day.

Ang, I'd say I'm just lucky to have such knowledge, but I've been through too much in my life. At one point I grew up and realized I needed to accept my life as it is, learn from dumbass people around me who ruined their lives, take lessons as they come and don't regret anything really. I protect myself and learned a while ago that relationships can't be based off of nothing. If that means I have to lower my physical standards to be with someone who is mentally and emotionally at the same level as me, then so be it. (I do keep some standards though because I need to be phsically attracted to someone to want to be with them- physical goes so many different ways though... From caring too much or too little about hygiene, appearance, how they carry themselves...).

Luckily, Dan came out of no where and has so much of what I was looking for in a guy plus more that I never would have thought of. /cute
