Sounds pretty fail for a meet that usually gets 700+ cars. I was there last year and it sucked.

it was alot of cars, idk about 300 but it seemed like more. whole sonic lot was taken up and went well down towards walmart etc.

Realistically the only way I'll come is if I can get a parking spot that's close to Sonic, I had talked to Bryan before about coming early to help direct traffic. If he still needs the help and I can come early to get a good spot, I'll be there, otherwise, I don't want to not feel safe walking away from my car, but I'm sure even if I do park close to Sonic I'll find my car full of trash when I get back courtesy of all of my fans here on TST.

Well... you and I may not agree on everything all the time but if someone's threatening to vandalize your car... that's effed up. You sure they're not empty threats? Cause it sounds pretty dumb to vandalize your car in front of hundreds of people. I, for one, would not just stand by and watch that happen to anyone's car.

Might be empty threats, might not be. All I know is one of my friends wouldn't take a joke that far so whoever it is has to be one of my many "admirers" from TST.

In the 3 past years of this event I've never gone because I never really

a. had a car worth taking
b. never got along with people on the site

I seem to have gotten the 2 out of the way, even part B for the most part, it's just silly how people have to act immature. I don't want to take my car there and have to worry about it, nor do I want to have to break someone's jaw and ruin the meet for everyone else there, so it may be better for me to sit out or ride with someone else for the benefit of the meet...everyone's seen my car already anyway

I say we just cancel it for Sunday. After lasts years crappy weather there is no reason to force it and have a day like that again. It's not really going to hurt anyone to do the rain date.

lol, when did the Sonic meet ever pull 700+? The first year was pretty small, the second, bigger, but still smaller than last year. This year I wouldn't be surprised to see those numbers on the 25th if it is clear. We're probably looking at 300 if it goes to the rain date.

I base it on this. Our weekly Best Buy meets had a turnout of 500-550 cars, every Tuesday. And that's one full parking lot.

The first Sonic meet I went to (the 2nd annual) had five to six full parking lots. It was definitely more than our weekly turnouts.
