Installed CS Powerseries exhaust today. Found out in the process that my old custom mild steel exhaust had 2 massive rust holes in it. So the CS PS exhaust is actually quieter in the car then my old one...lol.

Reinstalled downpipe, finished hooking up the AEM wideband, got the wastegate dump connected back onto the downpipe (worse part of it all), found a new place for my Pettit Racing Air Seperator Tank (looks way better than in front of the alternator), made a new screen filter using 2 pieces of screen overlapped since no air filter will fit with the intercooler setup and then reinstalled the Turbonetics 62-1 but now need to figure out how I am going to connect it to the hot side on the intercooler... then vroom pssshhh...hopefully lol

imagined what it's going to look/sound/feel like a few weeks from now with 80 extra whp's under the hood. Waiting sucks.

Yesterday I changed the spark plug wires, valve cover gasket, CAS o ring, and painted the valve cover. I think I'm going to take the paint off the lettering and polish it.

Dave, looks good man. I like all the black! What wires are those? OEM? I want black wires, but they have to be better than NGK

Yeah, they're just OE replacements, I went the cheaper route. If I didn't have to replace the gasket on the intake manifold, I'd take it off and paint that to match. It looks so out of place now.

exactly. I keep forgetting when I put the turbo on I can sell the header for around $350 and recoup some of that cashmoney.

went to sears and picked up a 3" piece of flexible metal ducting just for a mock up to see how I need to make a stainless pipe for the hot side and so far only got the shape I need but getting very close to a new street tune run though... also changed oil with Castrol Syntec 20w50 (saving the expensive oil for the next oil change since its been sitting for awhile and im just going to be cleaning it out with this oil change and changing it within 1000 miles), then tried starting it and the battery is so dead it wont even try and crank with it on a charger haha oh well $$$... and I also relocated the monster sticker onto the side of the fuse box haha. Here's more pics.
*please neglect the mishimoto coupler thats being swapped asap ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

How much room would you have if you clocked the turbo a little to eliminate a couple of couplers?

clocked up and to the right = wouldnt fit with coolant filler neck clocked down and to the right = I never would have got piping over to the turbo from the right of the coolant filler neck... this is my best option as I cant move my downpipe or manifold because the turbo has to bolt to both the same way and I also have a recirc tube from my wastegate going back into my downpipe that also acts as another mount for the downpipe... crazy setup I know but it works lol |

destroyed my passenger front fender well yesterday after hitting a puddle. had to pull off the road after it was rubbing my tire. Finally got it bent back into place and away from the tire. scared the **** out of me!
