_I don't know if any of you guys have heard of this or not but i thought id bring it up for discussion. Anyway the slide fire stock for ar rifles. Good? Bad? Thoughts? Basicaly it allows you to bump fire while aiming down your sights. It is fully legal and you don't need a class III license.

Anyone have an M&P sport? I've read pretty good reviews on them. Seems like a decent AR for the price.

Ugg. They really need to just put up lockers BEFORE the security checkpoint at the Northampton County Courthouse.
Their "system" sucks. Had to wait 16 min to check my firearm today. The deputies at the door need to summon a Sgt. to take care of the securing.
I had carried my K frame with Houge wraparound grip just for the occasion as the S.N. is on the butt of the frame and the grip conceals it. He doesn't need to write that down on their "receipt form" that I had to inform a different Sgt. (the one releasing my S&W) that I was keeping my copy when she asked for it back.

Told the first Sgt. that they need to change their system. He agreed.
Cited budget constraints.

Best part was when I told the deputy I need to check it. She must be new as she was completely unaware of section 913(e) of title 18. Found out later she lives in the PRNJ. ****ing epic priceless jaw drop she had. Apparently never saw OC before our was unaware it was legal.

one word : INSANE

use a stock ar trigger. its completely awesome. i used my buddies AR one and i bought an AK one. the 7.62 really knocks ya around but the 74 ran well on this.

I want an AR one but my ammo will be GONE. no need for class 3 if u want full atuo legal fun get this. You can AIM. it and do bursts/double taps/mag dumps!! Magpul rail covers are really nice to pull forward with. very tactile. I took some video of me firing my AR with the SFS stock on it.

When you open carry I heard there's a lot of gray areas like taking your weapon in a public place and carrying in the car. Do you carry it in your hip? I'm curious to know more about open carrying because it seems iffy

Would anybody want to pool their money together so that we can get a really large order? Just split it up equally then.

First, something that needs to be clear: there are absolutely no grey areas regarding any aspect of firearm laws. There are either laws written somewhere in very specific language that make something illegal, or there's nothing written making it legal.

That doesn't mean that something that's technically legal is a good idea. e.g. removing your gun to carry it in your car is stupid, no two ways about it. Once it's on it's on. Open carry requires a bit of planning as far as your day goes. If there's somewhere you can't or don't want to open carry, plan accordingly.

The more you handle your gun, the more chance there is of making a mistake.

Well said. Although when I pocket carry my PT-709 with manual saftey on in a pocket holster. The whole thing comes out in one piece and goes between the seat and center console. I see no saftey issues as it is very secure and the trigger guard never leaves the holster. I had to panic stop recently from about 45 mph. It didn't budge.

Depending on how large the order and how many people... I would possibly be down for this. I'm looking for .223/5.56

What's the deal with the kel tec ksg? I remember seeing the cancelled the release for a while but it looks like they are for sale again? Anyone shot one? Looks like the ultimate bug out gun at a decent price... With a sling, fore grip and Eotech or trijicon mini red dot it would be pretty sweet and cheaper than a Saiga now.

So you can open carry legally but only at your own risk. What about in a car?

Vechicle carry requires ltcf. Doesn't matter if open or concealed.
Right now we are still under a State of Emergency iirc. Therefore no carry without Ltcf.

Read up. Learn what is involved regarding mental preparedness and situational awareness.
Choose if it is right for you.

I don't do it for cool factor or attention. Most of us don't.

For me it is about
60% comfort
30% deterent/ease of deployment
10% educational/activism

I like duty pistols and shoving them in my pants is stupid. Thats pretty much why I OC.
