just curious you said you have a 400 HP Escort sedan? By chance was it red? Cuz there was a guy that slapped a turbo on his SPI Escort sedan and was pushing major power. I remember what it looked like cuz it looked exactly like my old Escort...lol

it was probably me. iirc i was like the only one with a sedan that was crazy enough to push it. this is my escort....

BIG TURBO (.60/.63)

im pretty sure it was me you are talking about, but thats my car for verification above.

maybe its just me but y does the dash look like SUCH cheap plastic.. like auto meter gauge bezel cheap....

The dash is sprayed with a high gloss automotive paint about 3 or 4coats. Them clear coated with about 3 or 4 coats. Very high gloss shiny look. Maybe that's why? Other than that I'm not sure what u mean

6 is long gone, I got 1500 for her...:facepalm: Driving a slow ass rsx now lol.

If they have the OCC meet again next year im still gonna go for sure though. Every time I see a 6 drive down the street or the tailights light up in the distance I get sad

I miss that car even though I treated it like a god and it treated me like ****.

I've got some pretty nice shots in the calender, hopefully I get at least one month to look at her on my wall.

Oh and I have a spare intake manifold that I got that you can have if you cover shipping if you want to try to get something fabbed up for a real IM not that ****ty plastic thing.

Back in 2000 to 2002 there was another guy with a dark red or maroon escort sedan with a home made turbo kit and quite a few mods. Ford use to borrow his car and have it in their display at the import/sport compact drag racing events. I also remember a black turbo Escort sedan around the same time period that use to be at some of the events.

Man, I've always liked the looks of mazda's (3s and 6s) but never thought they were quick enough. Im sure your's would fil the need for speed. Awesome car and good luck making 600hp.

I'd like to know if your car is a modded Speed6 or a regular 6.
When I saw that you've got an LSD in there I automatically figured that you were having the same that issues I do. Namely having a factory rear LSD and open front really sucks in higher power, longer wheelbase AWD setups

.
If it's a Speed6 , can you let me know how much of difference the LSD made in the corners, THANKS!

i sent you a message on facebook about that intake manifold. with all the **** im always trying out. it wouldnt hurt to have a spare.

i think i know the maroon colored one. i had like the highest powered 3rd escort that kept the SOHC

i have a regular 6. mine is a V6 FWD. the speed 6 is an AWD direct injection 4 cylinder
