honestly, thats kind of the reason i didnt think twice about the 5% tint, no matter how dark i go the car still looks like a bright orange rollerskate and i figured cops would kinda just feel bad for me. i love the car, but youre both right, its an aveo.

i had 1 tint ticket just paid it 56dollars. then i got a doctors note and i beat my other tint ticket case=] so go to the dmv and get a doctors note also

You're a genius. Tint to 5%, knowing it's illegal, then speed away/act a fool to try and avoid the cop and think it's a good idea to forge a doctor's note instead of just fixing it... All very good decisions.

I gotta agree with everyone else. As cheesy as it may be "you have to PAY to PLAY", you did something illegal expect to get caught.......

I choose to take my trans-am with OPEN headers on the road instead of getting it towed, passed a cop and got pulled over. Now he let me go being that the shop was in earshot of where we were. However, I was doing an ILLEGAL activity......expect at some point to get caught.

To be honest I am surprised I have not been pulled over yet in my current car, I know mark didn't tint it but it's DARK!

PA uses guidelines for the window tinting tickets. They say 70% so they can write more of them. The is a Federal Motor Vehicle Safety LAW that id real though and says PA can have down to 30%. If..IF you want darker than that from some reason get the medical exemption. Its a pain to get...trust me... but you can tint all your windows whatever you want basically. You just have to figure out why you need to have a dermatologist fill it out when the paper work says optimologist and the tint is to protect your skin from UV rays. That PA fo you

Jersey is the same way..my uncle has it because he has diabetes ande has sensitive eyes. Has 15% all the way around on his lexus. Gets pulled over all the time hands them the exemption, cop always ask about how dark is it allowed, and whatever else to try to squeeze a ticket in, but never bothers.

If you get something from your eye docter (weld alot, contacts, glasses) thats another way to get the exemption
