I'd definitely be willing to spend $100+ on a meal as a special event if it got crazy good reviews from reliable sources.

These are all great suggestions, keep them coming everyone! This thread will be a great resource for setting up some food meets.

Speaking of food meets, we usually do Bartonsville meets tonight and head to red robin afterwards....but I'm dying for some crazy good italian food. Nikki C's (which was capinela's formerly) makes AMAZING italian food and its a non franchise place! It seems like they make all of their money off of pizza's but their chef is insanely good at making just about anything. It's located on rt 715, definitely try it sometime.

But I know some good eats. Come to Vetri with me. I know Jeff Benjamin's and Jeff Michaud. I don't really know Vetri, but my dad knows him. I know Tom Peters and Fergi of Monk's Cafe if you want some good beer. Then there is Noble. I also like Amada.

Blackfish in Conshohocken is good. I met Chip, the chef/owner last year. He studied under Georges Perrier. I like Le Bec Fin, but I also love french food.

But based on the Fuji meet that I hosted the other night, I think most people on TST don't want to spend over $20 for dinner.

I know the chef at Blue Fin. Yong. He's Korean. He's eaten at my sushi bar before. One of our regulars who used to frequently come to our restaurant moved out around there, so he brought the chef over one night to meet my father.

A couple people have told me to check out Nick's Roast Beef in South Philly. It's on 20th between Snyder and Passyunk. Apparently the roast beef sandwiches are amazing. I'm not sure it's a place that would work well with a group, but I thought I'd throw it out there.

On Delmore Ave (Street before the Trenton makes the world aches bridge)across street from Dairy Queen. Their spring rolls and crab rangons are official. Stick to their white rice. The brown rice is ehhh. I usually get this fish with green curry sauce amd white rice dish they have.

Also great vegetarian place in Morrisville. Forgot name of it.

Just so everybody knows, we'll probably doing a Johnny's hot dogs meet and some BBQ place in Nazerath food meet coming up in the next few weeks. I'm finally getting my car back and much more inclined to setup the meets now.

When we do the BBQ meet in Nazareth don't miss it....best BBQ I've had in PA.
