Thats not us... thats the exact opposite of what TST and most of its members stand for.
In the past we have organized a meet there on Thursday nights, and that is the only night I know of that we have ever had a meet there.

Sorry to hear your car got messed with, thats low. I understand why you're pissed, but please don't come on here throwing punches toward the import crowd... from your perspective maybe they get no respect or get laughed at or not taken seriously, but what you don't realize when you act like that is how poorly you're representing the domestic crowd, who might just be looked at the same way depending on who you ask.

Regardless... it sucks, its lame, and I hope that everyone will keep an eye out on ALL cars at meets... hopefully we're all in it for the good of the hobby so keeping it clean, friendly, and cooperative is in everyone's best interest.
understood. like i said in the OP, it isn't aimed at 99.99% of the people on this board. i took a chance at the .01% of the toolsheds that did this are on this site or were friends of someone here. they may be, they may not be. i could've went to every large import board on the internet and posted this but seeing as how this is a local board, i came here because the odds were better that they MIGHT be here. could i have worded it a bit better? sure. was i bent out of shape when i wrote it? you betcha. more than you know. so if i offended anyone who had nothing to do with anything, i apologise. but i also wanted you all to know that something ****ty happened at the local hangout so you could be more aware and hopefully it doesn't happen to anyone else.

listen guys, i'm not trying to take shots at the import community as a whole. from the demeanor of this site you guys (and gals) are really stand up dudes. i'm an old VW guy from before most of you guys could walk, lol. i like all cars. and i also understand there are t-baggers from ALL makes and models, be it Stangs, Camaros, vettes, Civics.... etc. i've seen it all. there's always a select few that mess things up for the majority.

i also know how hard we all work to mod our cars, plus all the time and effort to get them to the level we want them. and to have someone eff with it, especially at the local car spot, is total weaksauce. i've had 2 of my cars broken into and i can't even put into words the feeling of seeing your car defiled.

and yes that was Vince's car (F8L BYT) it happened to.

People like this (whomever did it) are the reason I don't like to go out. They are domestic terrorists as far as I'm concerned and need to be treated as such. Guantanamo!

150hp doesnt sound good like 400 hp etc, etc. theyve earned it, argue if u want, but simply put a car that makes alot of noise is expected to go somewhere quickly, and its kinda gay and pathetic when a car is loud and u look and it can barely move. there IS a difference.

not saying i dont like hearing powerful civics, but those are like 0.5% of the entire "modded" honda population.
That's a double standard to say "the fast cars can do it and the slow ones can't", in fact, I'd rather have slow cars leaving in a hurry cause they can't go fast enough to hurt people around them while it can take a powerful muscle car only a split second to run over someone in the parking lot.

I don't think any cars fast or slow, loud or quiet should be whipping through a parking lot. Especially that lot, it was packed. It would be too easy for any car to accidentally hit a person or another car trying to pull out. I drive a domestic, but I don't go revving my way through a parking lot. Rather hear the blower anyway

Thats why i stopped going to them. The disrespect from alot of KIDS.

Radios, doughnuts in the lot, racing and people just trashing the place.

This all started as the weather got warm and more nut jobs came out.

We all had a great time meeting throughout the winter and having a few beers in the bar. To me thats what us old heads should do. Pick a spot with a bar and an out door deck.

Im talking about just general reception from people. like if a riced civic leaves a parking lot and hits it, but u can see it just isnt going anywhere its a let down and the car just looks "fake and Gay" (RWJ 2010 lol). But if like a built mustang or a ferrari or something does the exact same thing (obviously moving much quicker tho) people watching are not going to think "what a toolbag", they will say "damn that sounds sick, what an awesome car". Im sorry but in my view (and many other ppl's too) its ok for properly fast cars to showboat and whatnot because people actually want to see and hear them do that...... whereas little ricers, we'd all prefer they were taken and crushed. may not be fair, but id say its true for most of the car community. all car guys like seeing and hearing a properly good performance car in action.

I agree here. I dont sanction that **** in town or in parking lots from anyone.... but if they must do it, their car should be worth seeing. Its more worth the reckless endangerment if the dude is in an actually cool car rather than some POS.

You're not being rational, you're being borderline retarded. This is the attitude people don't want at meets, nobody gives a **** about your 400whp STi or 500whp corvette, drive like a normal person and don't draw negative attention to everyone else.

No, dude Im not saying I do it. I behave at meets. But what im saying is that if I see other people doing stupid things and they are in cars that are good, I dont mind seeing it. Whereas I and most others look down on some kid in a POS civic doing it. May not be fair, but the truth is the truth.

think about it alex. If someone HAS to **** around at a meet, ur saying ud rather hear and see some riced honda than some properly modded SVT Cobra, or evo or w/e. I mean as an enthusiast, not as a "concerned citizen" lol.

We'd rather see no one do it... there are no exceptions. No. One. Please don't try to justify it any further.

This thread is about someone disrespecting someone elses car... of course many of us should be frustrated at this but lets not get off track here and go back and forth about import/domestic or who can or cant act like a douchebag and have it be ok. Most of us are all in it together for the same reasons so no reason to create any unnecessary divides there.

Well I haven't dealt with marker sabotage yet but I know lacquer from Ardex removes paint so it may remove marker? Hopefully it does because I think that Mystichrome is sick.
